Thank you Harkins for this playcenter. Yes, there are parents out there with no family in town or knowledge of any babysitters, and let me tell you, sometimes it’s just nice to go to a non-​cartoon movie. We are very active parents and do all kinds of activities with the kids, but let’s face it, without babysitters, we don’t get out much as a couple. So here is one solution. Our kids love the playcenter at this theatre… actually more than going to a movie themselves. And for $ 6 per movie… cheaper than the actual movie, I know they’ll be close, safe and having fun. They are given water and popcorn and they can play, read, watch TV. There’s always at least 2 – 3 caretakers with them at all times, very personable ladies that do crafts with them, read to them… The place is clean, has a bathroom. Only takes potty trained kids. My husband and I like to arrive a few minutes before the movie so after dropping the kids at the playcenter we can talk for a bit and relax before the movie. And it’s always a great date.
