I’ve had some rough nights here but no one to blame besides the nectar of the Irish gods… Car bombs! Over the last ten years my favorite st Patty’s day spot. Yes you have to park across the street and pay cover but everybody and their mother is Irish on St Patty’s. Live bands and good food yr round… Feel like local pub vibe on a typical weeknight low light slight grimey and dark bar stools tables etc. Maybe grimey was a strong word but it doesn’t smell like a can of febreeze… Cool attentive staff patio for the smokers and all diff types of booths tables etc.

The burgers are delicious and BIG! Also the Monday special for $ 6 is still serving the same quality burgers. Music: very Irish Service: very friendly, good and fast Menu card: many items — give it a try

This place is really a fantastic restaurant with an impressive bar rather than a impressive bar with fantastic food, IMO. This place is the sister bar to The Skeptical Chymist, but they have different menus. Skeptical Chymist is closer to me but I’d rather drive the 45 min it takes to get to Fibber Magees. They don’t have the same menus, which is disappointing. Without a doubt, you must order the lamb nachos. My favorite, by far, and I always order them. Instead of tortilla chips, the dish comes with lightly fried wonton wrappers, ground lamb, feta cheese, and pico de gallo. The portions are very nice; even when sharing the dish with my husband, it’s a lot. Every day, they have various specials, «dine in» only. My husband loves the $ 5 burgers on Mondays. They’re not skimpy, but nice and meaty. He always cuts it in half bc it is so filling. We’ve also come in and had their sliders. Those were also very yummy. Their chicken tenders aren’t heavily breaded, but are still fried. I really like those! I have yet to find a place with better chicken tenders. The fish in their fish ‘n chips was huge and filling. If you’ve got a hankering for fish, this will take care of it.

This is our go to local place. The burgers are great and the fact that they are only $ 6 each on Monday nights makes them even better. The fish is flakey and cooked to perfection. Sliders aren’t my thing, but these were good. Good food, friendly staff, and a fun atmosphere make it a must go!

This place has excellent food and service. We went for happy hour and will be back to try all the other great food options. The cod sliders were delicious and cannot wait to try the corned beef and meatloaf sandwich. I would definitely recommend.

Haven’t been here in years and decided to try again. The service was superb. Food came out very, very quickly. We had Nellie chips as an appetizer. Straight out those were cold and weird. I wouldn’t order again and I ate them, but only because I was starving. The fish & chips were pretty good. The fish was delicious, flavorful(I guess for fish), and flaky. The french fires were good, not the best french fries ever, but good. We would definitely go back and this visit was better than we remember it all those years ago!

I came back here for a friend’s birthday. Our server was Alex. He was very informative. My friend had some dietary restrictions. He went over options that would work with her restrictions. He also made sure the kitchen staff was aware of the restrictions as well. This is great customer service. I started off with pulled pork sliders for an appetizer. I shared them with my wife. They were tender, smoky, and juicy. This was a good indicator of the pulled pork sandwich they offer. For the entrée I decided to try the Belfast burger. This was one of the best burgers I’ve had. It is a ½ pound burger on a brioche bun topped with lettuce, tomato, caramelized onions, roasted red pepper, mushrooms, garlic sauce, an onion ring, and your choice of cheese.(I chose pepper jack) The burger was grilled to a medium well which was my specification. The burger was full of flavor, juicy, and very filling. Almost makes me wish I had not ordered the sliders. I couldn’t finish the fries that came with the burger. I also had two Guinness nitro IPA beers. They had happy hour so all appetizers and tap beer was 50%off. I was asked about dessert, but there was no room left. I will be back here later this month for a graduation party.

The food was great! Service SUCKS! Waitresses are rude, they were busy and you swat yourself, no income to see us for over 40, missed when they did, the waitress told us basically that we hadn’t waitress, acted like she was doing us a favor, rolled her eyes, all we ordered was wings… seemed to be a huge deal. Not happy and prob won’t be back, planned on spending a lot of time and money here, cut it short, waited forever, waitresses were mean, totally disappointed.

Bartenders are assholes. The short, blonde one in particular thinks he is the the most amazing person in the world because he controls your booze, but screw that rude jerk. I still tip, but they didn’t deserve it. Bad service. Rude attitude. I didn’t do anything to warrant anything. The cook started taking my order, and the guy got mad at me. My friend was waiting forever for an order that was already poured and I get«you know it takes longer to serve» these orders. No shit. I know what a stout is. It doesn’t take 5+ minutes. My lord. .from start to finish… incompetence.

I was jonesing for some corned beef and cabbage, so we popped in here last night. The atmosphere is nice, and the servers were very attentive. That’s where the positive remarks ends. First, my corned beef and cabbage had gravy on it. GRAVY. Gross. the soup that my fiancé was served was room temperature. They brought out a new bowl that was slightly above room temperature. Our bill for 2 beers, one entrée, and a bowl of soup was $ 30. that’s right. Two bowls of cold soup, and we still had to pay for it. As we were eating our disappointing food, he looked up and noticed a Liverpool sign. Liverpool — not in Ireland folks… Him: What kind of Irish pub has a Liverpool sign? Me: The kind that puts gravy on corned beef… sigh.

Stopped in here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch by the suggestion of my step-daughter as we asked her to join us for lunch and she suggested Fibber Magee’s. This is an Irish bar, with authentic Irish décor, Irish food and beer of course. When we walked in, my husband noticed the music playing was alternative, and wanted Irish music, so our waitress had the bartender changed it to Irish music, it added to the Irish feel. After studying the menu, I decided on the Fish and Chips. All I can say is HOLYCOW the 2 pieces of fish I got were humongous, along with the HUGE pile of fries, with what I would say homemade tarter sauce. I dug into the fish, which was some of the best fish I’ve had in a long time. The batter was smooth and had an excellent flavor. The fish was cooked perfectly, they brought a bottle of malt vinegar to go on your fish as well. The fries were ok. Not the greatest. But, not bad either. I still cannot believe I ate it all, it was my lunch and supper all in one meal. If we didn’t have an afternoon event to go to I would have asked for a doggie bag. Our waitress was attentive, and told us if we liked the Fish and Chips that on Friday’s it is all you can eat. So, needless to say, we will be back on a Friday night for the all you can eat fish and chips.

I like the atmosphere here. Typical of an Irish pub with a lot of wood features including a large wooden bar. The shepherd pie had all lamb which was a bit much for my taste. I did enjoy the band that was featured for the evening, The Big Fellas, but it was a bit loud making it difficult for conversation.

Oh so close to a five star review… We have been coming here for a couple of months and love this place! The food is awesome and so is the Dirty Pear that I dream about. Tonight we tried the pretzels… What are they thinking? Brown breadsticks? These are NOT pretzels! I can give you a pretzel recipe if you need one. Or you can go down to the Irish pub in downtown Chandler. They have GREAT pretzels. Let me know if you want that pretzel recipe.

Authentic Irish atmosphere, Good service, 4 Stars for the Stellar Guinness Pour. Love the bar, plenty of seating as well as plenty of high top tables to seat at least 5. Guinness is $ 4.50 on HH which is definitely a better value than a lot of other places we’ve been. We tried the medium wings which were meaty & tasty and the Dirty Nellies(Yum!). Consensus on the Fish & Chips, Just Ok. I didn’t try it but was told it was a little«mushy.» Overall, we’d stop in again when on that side of town.

The have a good selection of whiskey and various mixed beer drinks. It’s a large place with plenty of seating. Aside from that there isnt much else going for it. It’s a Seattle Seahawks bar, so depending on your NFL fandom, that either really cool for 1/32nd’s of the NFL fans or really douchey and annoying to the rest of us. The food is below average bar/pub food, the service staff is slow, lazy, lacking professionalism, and disheveled. The place just has a really awkward vibe to it. No thanks.

$ 6 burgers on Monday night be the best $ 6 burger I’ve ever had. Any burger on the menu for six bucks. Excellent presentation and cooked perfectly. The fresh cut fries were very very good not great but close. Our server, Alex did a great job. He was curtious, prompt and never rushed us even towards the end of the evening.
