FastMed Urgent Care

Unfortunately I have to give a star to post comments or I would have given it minus 5. I brought my son in with a possible break to his wrist and received the worst attitude from the front desk girl possible I was ignored when I asked her for an ice pack. I was given an eye roll when I asked if she was able to print out the card from my other sons account. I was in a rush to get him seen because he was in so much pain and left the card on the counter. I was waiting for 45 minutes with my son in excruciating pain before I was told that I had to either leave my credit card for 200 deposit or pay 125 dollars in advance because there was no copay listed on the card. I advised her that my copay for urgent care was 50 and she said that I was responsible for «proving it» I asked her how was I supposed to do that. she said «I don’t know how? «REALLY! I call my husband’s employer and get the email print out with the explanation of benifits from the 45 min call wait time insurance company, figuring that would get my son seen and out of pain. Even offered to email it to her. Nope. She now wants me to call again and have it sent to her directly. ??? I have the exact same thing I can send. Meanwhile my 7 year old with a possible broken wrist is in pain and suffering. Still no ice pack or even an ounce of empathy. So I now have another girl coming out ordering food and begins to start a speech that has to do with a point we have been passed 30 minutes ago and I truly do not wish to go over it again because her Co worker had explained I needed to provide proof of urgent care copay. I then have to re– explain everything I just did to try and help. Son meanwhile is still in pain. I finally had enough and asked if anyone wanted to give me a clear concise answer to what I needed to do to get my son seen because if not, I was not going to sit there all day long and do they’re job of insurance verification when I already provided the explanation of benifits stating what my copays were. I needed to get my son somewhere else and quickly. I have absolutely never seen such disregard and lack of compassion from medical staff in my life. I’ve been in the medical field for 15 years and was absolutely shocked at how this staff treated my son’s pain and suffering. I hope the lunch they were ordering from the rep truly was extraordinary since it was so much more important than helping my little boy. Nexcare urgent care down the road was absolutely amazing. I’ll be recomending my patients, family, and friends there instead.

Fast and easy, super nice people, discount on prescriptions! I will use them again and refer them to my friends and family!

Got there at 9AM Sunday and was home by 10AM. Staff was great. Tom at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Valerie the RT was also super! Made me comfortable during X-​rays. Amanda the PA also friendly and competent. Everyone was helpful and caring. Great experience. I’m to return on Wednesday if not better and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Def. one of the best Urgent cares I have been to. Was seen, labs drawn and out the door in about a hour. Very convenient and they called the following day to advise of my lab results, which helped me with a vitamin deficiency.

Super clean area, friendly staff, friendly doctor that took the time to explain the situation. Service was speedy too. Walk in is great!

Went here this morning after reading other reviews. My 9 year old needed a strep test. We used the online option to pre-​register and set a hold time. I filled out and printed all the forms that were needed. Doing that saved paper time while in the waiting room, though I wouldn’t say it cut down our wait time. The front desk person was sweet and kind. The PA was wonderful and did for my daughter exactly what I would have opted to do. I’m an RN and already decided how I wanted the appointment to go. The facility was spotless and, all in all, front first step in to last step out, was 45 minutes. Amazing for an Urgent Care on a Saturday morning. Will use this location for any Saturday illnesses or injuries.

I had to do a random work drug test — routine procedure. Took AN HOUR just to be called back so that I could take all of 5 minutes to pee in a cup. I was pretty disappointed. The place wasn’t busy at the time. I had called the day before to see if I should make an appointment. The receptionist said I could do a walk in… Just to find out later you can make appointments. Wasted hour!

I was in need of an urgent care facility, and after reading some of the other reviews posted here, I decided to take a chance on FastMed Urgent Care on Ray Rd.
Every member of the staff there were professional, courteous, and efficient. Each of them listened to my problem… I mean they REALLY listened and provided me with some of the best care I’ve ever had at an urgent care facility. Best of all, I got a diagnosis with a complete description of exactly what was wrong, a prescription with detailed instructions for use, and advice to come back in a few days if the prescription didn’t work for me. That’s a rare thing these days.
Oh yes, one very important detail. I was in and out in LESS than an hour!!! Granted, it was a Saturday afternoon and when I walked in the waiting room was empty. But still, under an hour? Amazing!!!
My heartfelt thanks to Dorota, the PA on staff that day, to Tom at the front desk and to Valerie, the RT for a very pleasant experience and the relief I desperately needed. Whenever I need urgent care again, this is the place I’ll go!

Fast, friendly, clean. Didn’t feel like I was just a number.

They were friendly, the place was spotless, we were in there in a flash and out just as soon as they realized we needed to be referred to the ER.
I’d definitely suggest this urgent care if you need one!

Although I made an appointment online, «fast» is only in the name. Friendly service, but still have to wait. Regardless of my punctuality, they scheduled two other appointments at the same time. This had happened before here. Good doctors, thorough, but timely. Last time my child was sick, so our was frustrating. This time it is a routine sports physical and the front desk clerk, while friendly, is not quick. Nor is the wait. Disappointed.

Had to bring my daughter in on a Friday evening after she injured herself at volleyball practice. (My Dr office was already closed for the weekend) And we had a follow up visit on Monday. I was very pleased with the entire staff I dealt with on both occasions. Our follow up appointment for Monday was scheduled at 11am. Come 1155 we still hasn’t seen the Dr. (I guess that is to be expected at a walk in urgent care.) We ended up leaving since i had to get back to work but told them we’d be back after i got off. They got us right in and even gave my daughter a gift card to Cold Stone for the wait earlier (thought that was a nice touch) all in all I would definitely recommend coming here.

Excellent service! Kind, friendly, compassionate employees, techs and docs. Large waiting room with free wifi. X-​rays done on site. VERY CLEAN! Wish they were 24hrs… I was able to get my daughter in and out quickly and made it to work on time!

A week after my visit, a nurse from FastMed called me just to check to see how I was doing! If that is not great customer service I don’t know what is! Wow I am impressed! Many other doctor’s office’s, urgent care’s, dentist’s and any other service industry should take note. This is what you should be doing!
If you are in need of an urgent care and live in the Chandler or Gilbert area this location is worth the drive. Great customer service. Bravo FastMed!
