Okay, so not even sure why there aren’t any reviews for this place yet — but they are AMAZING. Definitely more than 5 stars. I lost my glasses at Mad Decent this past Friday(09 – 18) and it has been the worst 3 days of my life. I could not see a thing unless it was 5″ in front of me and I couldn’t even drive. I literally felt my life was falling apart because 1) I couldn’t see and 2) I had to go to class(I commute to the Tempe and Downtown campus — so driving was a must and unless I’m 5″ in front of the screen/board, school would be impossible) My grandparents were my biggest helpers/supporters and a friend of my grandmothers recommended us this place. So happy we went, upon arriving we were greeted politely and I explained my situation to Gia(woman at the front desk) she had me fill out some paper work and then Dr. Luis came. He was really nice, explained everything and there are no words to how happy I am that I can see again. I was given trail contacts at the moment, and then tomorrow(09 – 22) I will pick up my glasses. I am so thankful that he is having the lab prepare them overnight, because it usually takes a week for my glasses to be ready. My grandparents even got their eyes checked out while we were there. They had their last eye exam 3 years ago, but today they got them done and so happy they did. We found out my grandfather had an eye infection(I forgot the name of it) but Dr. Luis explained that it was curable. He gave us these eye cleansing wipe, and told us to wipe my grandfathers eyes every morning and to follow up with a checkup in a month. We even got information on Medicare here. I was unaware that my grandparents weren’t on Medicare, rather another health insurance called ‘Health Net’. Unfortunately Health Net didn’t cover their check ups so they had to pay out of pocket. But they explained to us that that Medicare is much more beneficial and that basically Health Net sucks, so don’t get it. After today, with all this intimation provided to us by Gia — we are calling Health Net and getting my grandparents back to Medicare. Just overall this place did a wonderful job in solving my eye emergency and helping my grandparents. What made this place even better is that Dr. Luis spoke Spanish. I didn’t have to translate and my grandparents understood everything the doctor said and were able to ask him questions without hesitation. Thank you so much!!!
