This place is professional and fast. They are run very efficiently. You can check wait times online before you go as well. I waited for 3 cars in front of me but each car’s smog check only took 5min, including mine. You can sit in the passenger seat when the technician checks it because it takes such a short time. When you are driving down the road to get there, turn right when you see a small blue sign on your right side. They take credit card as well.

I went there this morning and got my emissions test done pretty fast. The customer service was excellent. Will go back again.

It’s vehicle emissions. They all seem to use basically the same system, so it takes about the same amount of time no matter where you go. The only real variable is how busy they are. If it’s 5 – 10 minutes per car, as I would estimate, you can get an idea how long you’ll be waiting by how far back in line you are. I’ve had to wait here for half an hour or more, and sometimes as little as 5 minutes. This visit was 5 minutes. The crew was pleasant, efficient, and got me out reasonably quickly. Apparently they now take credit(this is new to me), but probably a good idea to have cash in case there is a problem with the credit card.

I’ve been here twice in the past few years and have never had any issues. In fact, today’s visit must have been the fastest emissions test in the history of emissions testing. From the moment I received my ticket to the moment I drove away, all of maybe five minutes had passed. Now THAT is awesome. As Brett mentioned, you can check the website for wait times, which is cool if you need to plan ahead. I went in the middle of the day on a weekday, which might be the best time to go. My one complaint is that I had to pay in cash. I’m very lucky I remembered to bring the right amount, because otherwise I would have made the 15 minute drive for nothing! This is apparently an ongoing issue, so bring the appropriate cash just in case their card reader is still broken.

Beats getting sodomized. Make sure to check their webpage to get an idea of wait times.

I went this morning to get my car tested at this facility, a whole month early, just to be a good doobee. Boy did I get punished for that. I waited over thirty minutes, mostly watching a marque sign that said the wait was only 11 minutes. The person who tested the car barely acknowledged me and just mumbled the instructions, I had to guess at what he said. Finally, the car is tested, I hand him my credit card, and he says their card reader is broken and I’ll have to pay in cash. Now they tell me? I didn’t have the cash, so the test was voided, which means I sat in the 110 degree heat for ½ an hour for nothing! I complained to the manager, and he said I should have seen the sign. Turns out there is a 4×5 card taped to the bottom of the gate to the entry lanes that does say their card reader is broken. But even if I had seen it, it wouldn’t have done me any good, because by that point you are already in the one-way lanes and surrounded by cars, it’s too late at that point to pull out or change directions to leave. When I asked the manager why he didn’t put a sign up at the facility entrance so people could turn out before getting caught, he said the company that runs the stations only gave him the one sign. That is the lamest excuse I have ever heard, but that was his story and he was sticking with it. As I finally pulled away, I saw someone else talking to him quickly and gesturing, I’m pretty sure I know what about. I’ll bet he never does put up a sign to actually prevent the problems.
