This place is nice, always busy(its also a gym), the therapists are friendly, listen well, joke around with you, but really know their stuff. The Mettler Release Technique is freaking magical. I have adhesive capsulitis(frozen shoulder) and had surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff which may well have caused or contributed to it, and Jeff(mentioned in the review above) decided to give MRT a try. The effects were immediate; keep in mind this shoulder had been affected for two+ years, and suddenly after only a few minutes of manipulation I was able to move it further than I’d been able to before with much much much less pain, and this improvement didn’t go away after a few hours as it often did with conventional massage. I would strongly recommend anyone with mobility issues due to scar tissue who is considering surgical intervention to at least try this first. I was a complete skeptic going in. I’m writing Paul Mettler a fan letter now.

I’m not sure how I was referred to the Mettler Center after a serious wrist fracture, but however it happened, I can assuredly say: Mettler Therapy is as good as it gets. After a broken wrist injury, Jeff Schroder spent countless hours rehabilitating and strengthening my entire arm — which had not only atrophied due to the immobilization during healing, but was also laced with scar tissue. That was back in 2002. Almost 10 years later my wrist still has FULLRANGEOFMOTION. I have honestly not had one single recurring pain after completing my detailed PT program at the Mettler Center, and owe it all to the talents of the founder and his team of therapists, and the brilliant Mettler Release Technique. Pain free full range of motion is important to anyone who has experienced an injury, but as a piano player, it is even more so! Jeff, you probably don’t remember me, but I will always remember you for your dedication and honest concern for my well being, and for helping to restore my wrist to as good as new condition! Many thanks!
