This place is terrible. My grandmother stayed here for a period of a few months while she was was supposedly rehabilitating after falling and breaking a few bones. All she did was lie in her bed all day, watching tv. The«rehabilitation» consisted of walking up and down a single step a few times in the morning and moving her arm around before breakfast. that’s it. She ended up losing a lot of weight and looked really terrible and unhealthy during her time there. I honestly thought she was going to die there. The nurses/medical assistants who work here were fairly unpleasant and unhelpful. One time when I was visiting her, a nurse came by to give my grandmother her dinner, and we looked at the packaging to see that it had the wrong name on it! We told her she gave us the wrong one and she laughed and literally told me and my dad that she hadn’t even looked at the name, she just thought she saw the room number. Really??? How dumb do you have to be as a healthcare worker to actually admit that to us? It was also very concerning considering the dinners are specialized because of peoples food allergies… The rooms are boring blank white walls and everything else is fairly standard. Thought they could at least put some artwork up. There’s no security here as I was able to just walk right on in. Visiting this place made me really sad. I don’t know how they can call themselves a rehab center when they seem like just another understaffed nursing home. I’m so glad my grandmother was able to leave here and I tell everyone I know now to send their relatives here.
