I don’t really know where to start with this gentleman, my girlfriend recently purchased an old 3 speed which needed tires and tubes, we looked at the normal locations for 26 in. 1 and 3⁄8 gumwall tires and couldn’t find them. We called up Kohlmann and he had them in stock. We arrived at his house which had a well outfitted garage and bought the tubes, tires, and a classic looking seat for a very reasonable price… Then came what you never see, he actually offered to put the tires on even though I was planning on doing it myself. He did this and installed them for free and was pleased to do so. I enjoyed hearing his stories and was impressed with his mechanical ability and expertise on bikes. His labor is extremely reasonable and I will go to him for all of my future bicycle needs. Though he is a little ways from campus you can always take the bus with your bike and leave with a well oiled machine. Highly recommended.

This is a bicycle shop in the garage of a house in a small residential neighborhood. It even has a very small sign: «bike shop». The owner/operator is named Peter and I recommend him to you because:(1) he doesn’t make fun of you if you don’t know anything about bikes,(2) his prices are reasonable,(3) he works quickly, and(4) he is very nice. He will even attempt to repair Walmart/Toys R Us style awful bikes although some bike shops around here will not touch them. The shop mostly does repairs but there are a few bikes for sale as well. Cash or check only. I called ahead, he said come right over. I left the bike in the late afternoon on a Friday and picked it up on Saturday morning. He did a great job.
