I had contacted Cumberland Valley Tree Service for a quote on getting two of my trees trimmed. They are both large trees — one is a cherry tree and the other is a sweet gum tree. While they had been trimmed about 2 years ago, they were in desperate need of a trim prior to the winter. Fred Schrom promptly reached out to schedule a visit to look at the trees and provide a quote. The quote was detailed. It included not only the cost of the work, with specific detail, but it also had the company’s certificate of insurability, workers compensation article. In the past when dealing with other companies I have had to request that information. However, Fred and team provided it without prompting. They understand that a homeowner needs all the facts to make an educated decision.
They came to complete the work a few weeks after I signed the contract. I was aware of the time window they were anticipating being able to complete the work so no surprise there. They did a great job trimming both my trees and cleaning up after themselves! Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. I HIGHLY recommend this business to anyone who is interested in having their trees trimmed and cared for. Additionally, I would also recommend them for anyone interested in having hardscaping done. They have brought the Vidics on board — they have a long standing history of doing an outstanding job of hardscaping (I have a sidewalk, curbstone and back patio done by the Vidics.
