Chambersburg Skydiving Center is the best place to learn how to skydive. I started the AFF program exactly a year ago there. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, and if you are motivated, no matter how challenging skydiving is for you, the whole drop zone, instructors and experienced jumpers alike, will be behind you to support you. It is a small drop zone with a family atmosphere where everybody feels welcome. Also, safety is key there, so don’t be frustrated if you don’t get to jump because of the weather: if it’s too cloudy or windy for experienced jumpers and instructors, just come back another day. It’s better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air than to be in the air wishing you were on the ground. Can’t wait for next weekend!

Great staff, helpful and friendly. Seems like a really dedicated and skydive obsessed team… perfect to put a nervous person at ease. The wait time was extremely long(10AM appointment but didn’t jump until 4:30PM), however it was Memorial Day, so I imagine that is quite a busy day. Everyone there seemed so knowledgeable and experienced, it was actually shocking the number of times they had each jumped. 500,700, 11,000…I mean a LOT of jumps! Through the course of the day I watched the training classes over and over again, it was great to watch the team put everyone at ease with their expertise. I purchased the skydiving for my boyfriend as a gift, and even that experience was excellent. Dave was the man who helped me place my order and answered all of my questions, and when the day arrived, Dave was also the man who tandem guided my boyfriend to safety. He has a very welcoming and calming personality. I purchased a video of the event which was absolutely worth the fee. The DVD was amazing to watch and pretty nicely edited, especially considering I was able to take it with us that same day. It also came with a DVD of still photographs. After the jump we left with all sorts of neat swag; stickers, certificates, coupons… it was nice to get the souvenirs in addition to the memory. One thing I would change would be the addition of vending, there is a soda machine but with the long wait time we wound up being very hungry and had to leave to go get a snack.
