Brittney Ray’s Florist

One of the parts I loved the most was seeing my bouquet. Because I planned from a distance, I had to blindly trust many of the vendors. I used Brittney Ray’s Florist and had no idea what to expect. I had only given her ideas of bouquets I liked through various pictures, an approximation of a «wedding color,» and the «must» of the South African national flower, protea, being featured. I wanted to incorporate this part of South Africa for my husband (he just relocated from South Africa, where we met) and because I love that flower each time I visit. I almost fainted when I saw the bouquet. The staff who brought the flowers were so friendly, professional and patient. I still just can’t get over how amazing it was. She featured SEVERAL proteas. Even ones that I didn’t know were a protea were indeed another variety! I never wanted to put it down. Long after the night ended, I kept asking «Where’s my bouquet?» or looking at the pictures of it that I took. I would definitely use her again.
Prior to the wedding, she was very easy to work with via email since we had difficulty connecting via phone due to time differences and schedules.

My wife had dark purple calla lily in her Bouquet at our wedding so for our 2^nd anniversary i thought i would get 2 single Purple Calla Lilly’s. I called around and most places wouldn’t sell me just 2 lilly’s or they had to special order them. They were pretty cheap too i just started working after being laid off 14 months so money was tight. The lady working there was so helpful, i was in and out very quickly and she made the flowers look awesome. When i got home my wife cried with joy she thought they were the most beautiful flowers ever. Not sure because they were from me or from this flower shop. I know for now on i will go here for any flower needs.

Amazing florist. She did the flowers for my wedding and has recently done the flowers for my grandfather’s funeral. Both were excellent. Her prices are reasonable and she is one of the only florists to come back to the Parish post k.
