Still love the food, and tried dining-in a few times. But the extremely long wait to be served our food was ridiculous. However, while sitting there waiting and waiting and waiting, the front desk people were scurrying back and forth with take-out orders. The take-out orders must be their priority. So we’ll just do take-out from now on. We like being a priority.

Best«Hot and Sour Soup» I’ve ever had(wish I could get the recipe). The«B.B.Q. Chicken on Stick» is equally great. Also, the«General Tso’s Chicken» and«Pork Fried Rice» is very delicious. Definitely recommended.

We ordered two dishes and both lack favor. Very disappointing. We ordered from here because of all the Unilocal reviews, but never again. Very disappointed.

Food is awesome and not your typical overly greasy chinese food. The hot and sour soup tastes flavorful and doesn’t smell like sweaty socks as some places do. We ordered the general chicken and general tso shrimp for dinner. The shrimps were huge and got more than we had expected. Both were lightly breaded and crispy. We look forward to coming back and trying other items on the menu. We have eaten at almost all the Chinese restaurants within a 5 mile radius of Hatfield and this is at the top of our list.

My boyfriend and I tried this place for the first time tonight. We ordered the broccoli in garlic sauce and sesame chicken over the phone and their staff wasn’t warming at all. The broccoli in garlic sauce was good but not great. You get a good amount of food. I don’t recommend getting the sesame chicken. It’s bland and doesn’t taste like sesame chicken at all. I’ve had better at mall vendors. One star because our order was right and on time for pickup, and another because the garlic broccoli was pretty good.

This place has gone downhill over the years. The food quality is bad and the prices are higher. Service can be good or bad depending on day of the week. I never had won-ton soup with little or no pork in the dumpling? There are too many other Chinese places nearby that offer better tasting Chinese food.

I drive an hour to come here for awesome Chinese and I could easily drive an hour into the city for Chinese but this place is the best, very polite people and awesome food, I eat my fill of the crispy chicken and order some for take away as well.

While restaurant looked inviting service and quality of food below average. Waited about 5 minutes for a table — not bad for 7 pm on a Fri night. Soup was good and served hot. But had to wait for tea which came about 5 minutes after soup and was so weak I asked for another tea bag(which took another 5 minutes). Two egg rolls were served about 7 minutes apart and were all cabbage. Had to ask for more sauces. Husband ordered the special(chicken with shanghai veggies) I ordered the pepper steak. Steak was tender and veggies were crisp and not soggy but sauce was so bland(more like a gravy) and rice was sticky. Next time I get a hankering for soup and egg rolls I’ll pick another restaurant for take out. Almost forgot to mention very understaffed. One waiter, cashier handling take out, and host standing around talking about music from restaurant next door.

Went here twice before for lunch special to do take out. The food tasted horrible and mine and hubby’s rice was like filled half way in the container. I personally like going to Philadelphia China town when I can.

Not good! Maybe a bad cook or off night and most things are worth giving a second chance but not sure id try again unless i was in the area. Chicken/broccoli was flavorless, kung pao shrimp weak and the boneless spareribs where bland. 0 – 3, is not good!

The tangerine beef was excellent. It had a hint of spice. I love the crab and cheese wontons. The mustard has a nice little kick.

There aren’t a lot of Chinese Food options in the Chalfont area but this place is pretty good. It doesn’t blow me away but it’s still decent quality, like not a ton of dark meat when ordering a breaded chicken dish. Most places include fried rice in a combo meal but they only offer white or brown rice. I suppose that’s not bad but I always prefer pork fried rice with my general tso’s. No Delivery but when I have gone in, they were friendly. If your in the mood, I would recommend it.

Lunch specials range from $ 7 – 9 and includes soup and rice(white or chicken fried rice). Atmosphere was quiet(lunch on a weekday) and pleasant. Service was fast and efficient. Egg drop soup is clean, not too greasy. It also has corn and small cubes of tofu which add great texture contrast with the fried wonton skins. I got the crispy chicken with chicken fried rice. The chicken was only mildly crispy, but had nice sweet and spicy flavor. It also tasted really fresh. The chicken fried rice was also good and it was not overpowered or drowned in soy sauce. Server was also nice in getting me extra rice for free because there was so much freaking chicken on my plate — which was amazing. Good food. Cheap prices. Friendly service. I would definitely come back if I’m ever in the Chalfont area for lunch. Enjoy!

I’d recommend this to anyone who knows good Chinese food. I came here with some family for a birthday and we ordered around 10 different dishes and around 5 Chinese apps to share around the table. Chicken, beef, pork – you name it, it was well-cooked. The sauces we’d extremely unique and there was no skimping on portion size. I do have to knock them for a bit of rude service, but it’s just not enough to give anything less than a perfect review.

This has been my family’s go-to Chinese spot since I was a kid. In general I’m not the biggest fan of Asian cuisine in general but the basic stuff I like has always been better here than anywhere else I’ve been. While not always the quickest of orders(I’m guessing the food in general takes a bit to make), it’s always hot and fresh when we do get it. The chicken here is always flavorful and juicy, the beef is the same and every type of rice here is to die for. Definitely a place for everyone to check out.

I have friends that live in Montgomery County, and when I’m up there visiting, we like to order take out from Gourmet Wok. They have a pretty standard Chinese Restaurant Menu. I haven’t tried any of their more expensive dishes, but I have had their friend rice, wonton soup, dumplings, and lo mein. The pricing is very fair, the food is prepared quickly, and tastes above average. The main reason I eat here is because of their consistency. Their front counter guy(Herman) is friendly and accurate. So overall, I am giving them 5 stars for fulfilling my expectations.

Fantastic! Would recommend to anyone. Even if you don’t like Chinese food, this place will convert you!!! Quick, affordable, and delicious take out. Also a great atmosphere for dine in with the wife. BONUS is that i’s conveniently located in a shopping center with Giant grocery store and some dessert places.

I love gourmet wok! Their veg lo mien and pork fried rice are my favorite. Although I wish they would put more carrots in the rice. I wasn’t a fan of the generals chicken but everything else has been great.

Initial impressions left alot to be desired. Tried out a basic lunch combos. Nothing really stood out. Ordered a shrimp in red chili sauce and the sauce tasted more like a mix of duck/bbq sauce combo. Way too sweet for my taste and pretty much inedible.
