Went in on Saturday for my first time ever shooting. It was a friend’s birthday, and we came in with a group of girls who have never shot before. Everyone there was extremely helpful and friendly, and they let us have fun while keeping everything professional and safe. We all had a good time and learned a lot. The staff there really took care of us and answered any questions we had. I would recommend them to anyone looking to learn to shoot and not feel intimidated. Great people there.

great inventory– nice gun range too. staff isn’t overly friendly, but they are nice enough. their prices are fair and using a debit card is the same as cash. i’ve run into other places where a debit card is treated as a credit card. when buying a gun, their paperwork process is fast. would go back

Michael was super patient and took time to review and explain options for my first purchase. Was able to use the range to try out his suggestions. Great experience. Busy day, but the guys handled the crowd well.

Getting some target practice. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, plenty of accessories. An awesome experience. #S&WM&PShield9mm

Most of the sales people are decent and knowledgable. The Range Officers are complete tools. I’ve been a member who has been shooting here for years; I’ve watched far too many times the Range Officers interact like jackasses with customers who simply asked for assistance. I realize safety is a priority, but people are there for fun. Obviously it’s not their store and customer service means nothing to them.

Their sales staff is very patient and knowledgeable. I was looking to trade in a revolver for my 1st semi-automatic pistol and Thad was the best. I went in thinking I’d get a 1911 model but he talked me into a 9 mm. I tried a bunch and settled on a S&W M&P. I am extremely happy with the purchase. The range is also fine.

I had been shopping around for a small pocket pistol and stopped in to Tagetmaster last Saturday. Let me say it was so crowded. I almost walked out but decided to take a look at the prices which were reasonable. I was going back and forth between two different models. Despite how busy they were, the sales associate(Thad) was very helpful, patient and willing to answer all of my questions. I ultimately ended up making a purchase. From what I could see, all of the other sales associates were as helpful and patient with the other customers despite how busy they were.

Sunday, I decided to be spontaneous with a friend and go to the shooting range. Great decision and we had a really good time. Targetmaster was busy, we showed up around 2:30pm and reserved our spot. Our lane was ready around 3:10pm, the associate estimated a 45 minute wait time; not bad. We reserved the 9 mm Glock, 1 box ammo, and two targets, roughly $ 60, great price. The staff was courtesy, I didn’t expect them to be all smiles, it’s an armory and they should be on alert. The range officer was extremely helpful, he helped my friend with tips on shooting since it was her first time. Fyi It’s extremely loud, I’ve never been to an indoor range when it’s busy and people are shooting high caliber weapons. Next time we’ll probably rent an assault rifle like a M4. Check it out, you won’t regret it!!!

I have been to Targetmaster several times. The sales staff is very informative. I have read several bad reviews online about this place. I have not experienced any of these things. My only ask would be that for new shooters, those that have never been to an indoor range that they should be required to either take a class or at the very least watch a video. I was there the other day and and two brand new shooters were put in the lane next to me. The Range Marshall had to come over several times and remind them to keep their pistol pointed down range.

I purchased two hand guns on 9÷29÷2105 and was very pleased with the staff, they were very helpful in making my decision along with my wife who knows very little about hand guns. I am not quite sure if the price was fair, however I did not care due to the great customer service. I was pleasantly surprised with the great service do to the negative comments regarding the staff? When I walked in they was only three customers in the showroom, 5 minutes later it was full and the employees were doing a great job of juggling customers, I guess I could have been unreasonable and ask the sales person focus on my needs and let the others wait. The showroom was very clean, neat and organized ! I would definitely recommend Target Master.

Went here with 3 other ladies for an afternoon outing. I’d shot before, but the other 3 ladies had never been. We had called about a week ahead to get some information and to ask about how we’d be taught and if they could accomodate some newbies, to which they said of course. Once there, the guys at the counter were extremely helpful; they picked out two guns, both .22s(one revolver, one semi automatic) and walked us through the preliminary steps before we even entered the range. Once in the range, the range master was extremely helpful in setting us up, teaching us how to load the guns, how to hold the guns, and how to discharge the spent casings. If we ever had a question(and believe me, we had quite a few) he never hesitated in coming over and helping us out. After about an hour, we had shot all of our rounds and we headed out back front to sign out. Since it was our first time shooting together we asked if it were possible for a picture, to which they replied sure! So we got our keepsake targets, as well as a photo to commemorate the day. Overall, I would definitely come back here the next time I want to shoot.

I’ll enjoy writing a 1-star review for this poorly operated business. For first time shooters, this place might be a nightmare and should certainly be avoided. The staff are horribly unwelcoming and will most definitely make you feel like an incompetent POS since you’re not an expert. Have a question about what you should try and shoot? Have a question about the differences in hand guns? Better bite your tongue. Couldn’t imagine if you really had 0 experience and didn’t know how to load the magazine, because the staff would have a field day on you. Don’t even bother coming here.

Pros: A gun can be rent without membership. Cons: Cellphone is not allowed inside the building. The shooting place is relatively small. They have around 15 lanes.

Went here with my girlfriend a few days ago. Prior to this, the only gun she had fired was a .22 rifle, but she wanted some experience with a 9 mm. Upon arriving, the clerk spent 5 minutes grilling both of us on our prior history with firearms. Upon hearing that she had never used a 9 mm the clerk suggested we rent a .22 pistol. We declined and told him we would be using a 9 mm. At this point the clerk demanded that we use the .22. After another 5 minutes of arguing I finally said to him«we could shoot a .22 at home for free. Let us choose or we’re leaving. «the clerk then turned around, tossed a 9 mm ruger into a box with some rounds, threw our eyes and ears on the counter and walked away without a word… okay I guess we don’t get to select the firearm that we want to shoot. Not wanting to create even more of a scene I took the box and went into the range. The range master was the complete opposite of the guy at the counter. He was friendly and informative. We got through about a box and a half of rounds before the pistol started to jam up. At this point we were both fed up with the whole thing and decided to just leave. I don’t think I’ll ever be coming back here. Its conveniently close but with how rude and confrontational the clerk at the counter was, I would much rather travel farther than give this targetmaster my business again

Probably my favorite gun range to shoot at. Being a young female the workers are super nice and helpful! I have no complaints!

I’ve been to this place a bunch of times. I actually bought my first handgun here back in 2012. As far as the showroom goes, it’s a decent size. And they have a better stock of new and used guns than I’ve ever seen in any other gun store in PA. Prices are fair with the 5% discount for buying in cash. In my experience, the customer service is fine. No issues if you follow basic gun store etiquette ie keep your weapons cased or holstered, don’t flip their revolver chambers closed one handed OK Corral style and refrain from spinning the handguns on your fingers like Billy the Kid unless absolutely necessary. I’ve never seen the place not crowded, so plan to wait. Plan to wait longer if you want a lane on the range. I’ve used their range 3 or 4 times and it’s pretty good. I’ve never been in any of the members areas. I went there yesterday to transfer a handgun. I used to live in that area, but have since moved about an hour and a half away. There were closer, cheaper options, but it was halfway between me and the person I transferred to, plus TM has good weekend hours. The buyer ended up paying $ 50 for the transfer, which IMO is ridiculous, but meh. His money, not mine. In and out in about an hour.

I have a concealed carry permit and when I can, I bring my friend with me. Some of the guys at the office mentioned that this was a good range, so off I went. Very nicely organized but a little confusing for someone who’s never been here. Fortunately, another customer helped me understand where to pick up my targets and a backer. It’s an indoor range and it’s loud. Especially so if someone else is shooting a big cannon. If I’d been thinking about it, I would have brought ear plugs and used them in addition to the ear muffs. Once I’d burned through the two boxes of ammunition, I took a few minutes to look through their gun cabinets and the accessories. Pricing looked pretty solid, but that’s the cash price. Tips: — If you have targets, bring ‘em. — You may not shoot aluminum rounds

This is a very well-equipped facility, both in the range they have and the showroom. The staff are really rude, in my opinion, and don’t make customers feel very welcome. I decided it wasn’t worth it to return. Really a shame.
