Came here because of Unilocal reviews and I was not disappointed at all! Thanks Patrick! I would definitely recommend this palace to my friends and family.

My regular chick was busy so I had to get my hair cut fast. Called this place up and for a Friday, I was able to get right in barely any wait. The place isn’t fancy or any anything and could use a little color splash but they had nice wood floors and a big screen TV which my regular place doesn’t have. It looked pretty clean and the price was reasonable. Patrick was a hoot. Down to earth, funny and I got a decent cut out of it too. Overall, I’m satisfied with my experience and would recommend to friends.

Came here because the Unilocal reviews and I’m so glad I did! I walked in for a haircut and Patrick, the owner helped me right away. He was very funny! You won’t be bored, trust me. He is such a professional, I think he can cut my hair perfectly with his eyes closed. You can tell he’s been doing this for years. Decent price $ 25 includes shampoo. I will definitely come back!
This salon is located in the Carl’s Jr. plaza on Gridley and South.

Based on the reviews here and the location from my home, I chose this salon to help fix my daughters long hair. Her hair isn’t easy to cut, nobody has been able to get it right and it has caused her some stress.
We arrived as a walk in and I was expecting a wait since we didn’t have an appointment but we were called right away. After I discussed my daughters hair and what we wanted done, the hairdresser got to work right away.
About 25 minutes later, my daughter comes back with huge smile on her face! Due to the Ling length of her hair, prior hairdressers chop up the ends or do something wrong, maybe not purposely because it is sort of hard to hard to work it.
The hairdresser did my daughters hair flawlessly and to perfection! I haven’t seen her smile like that in a while, highly recommend this salon :)

This salon is a hidden gem. I first brought my two-​year old here for a haircut because the kid salon wasn’t doing the trick. Eva was so sweet with him and his haircut was fantastic. I finally decided to ditch my old (and very expensive) salon and give Eva a try myself. Wonderful. She really knows her stuff. I’m so happy!

Eva is FABULOUS! I couldn’t get an appointment with my normal hair dresser so after reading the Unilocal reviews I took a chance. I will be switching to Eva .

Found this place on Unilocal.I’ve been to do many places trying to find a perfect cut. FOUND IT! Eva did my hair, really listened to me and did it exactly how I explained to her I wanted it. Great price, excellent work. I have a man’s hair cut, charged me for a man’s hair cut. Very gay friendly as well.

Eva fixed my hair color and got it exactly how I wanted ! definitely coming back here again (: me and my mom loved patrick and Eva. they did a great job !

I took my hyper toddler here for the very first time and I was amazed at how Patrick worked his magic. My son does not like to get his hair cut, but Patrick made him giggle almost the entire process. It only took a few minutes to completely transform my son’s longer locks into a faux hawk. He even checked my son’s hair several times to make sure it was perfectly even. Patrick has turned what usually is a lengthy and boring situation for my son into a quick but enjoyable process. We hit the jackpot with this place and look forward to taking my son here from now on. Patrick now has another repeat customer. This place is also very affordable.

Eva is nice and really pays attention to how you want your hair cut. She takes her time which I really appreciated, it doesn’t feel rushed. She even gives you suggestions on what looks best. A mens cut is $ 17 and that even includes shampoo.

I use to live in Los Angeles in West Hollywood and worked at Nieman Marcus in Beverly Hills and I could not find a hairdresser who was good and wouldnt cost me an arm and leg but I didnt succeed until I found a friend who worked with me and she did my hair for a while until she moved away and I retired and moved to Lakewood… Im telling you this because Im so HAPPY that I found Eva! Great first experience coming here. I usually try different barber shops each time I get my haircut. Was able to describe the haircut I wanted and the barber quickly delivered. $ 17 for a basic men’s haircut along with a shampoo. Overall very pleasant experience and I’ll sure to be back, high recommend. Definitely the best spot in the area.

I have been seeing Patrick and Eva for over 10 years! Although I only get simple haircuts, I am never disappointed! I highly recommend both of them!

You sound go here because these people listen and style how you want not the way they want. It’s hard to find a place like this, my girl is Eva but Patrick is great too. I drive 30 minutes to go here and it’s worth it.

Patrick is awesome! I tell him what I want and my hair always comes out better than what I expect! He’s fantastic with color! An add on bonus, he’s so funny! Definitely recommended!

Tried this place for the first time yesterday. I will be going back as a regular. They don’t take appointments for haircuts. Maybe for more complicated hair jobs they do. It’s a great price for a men’s haircut with shampoo. The guy cutting my hair actually did what I told him to do and my hair came out exactly how I wanted it. I have complicated hair and it’s always been hard finding the right spot for me but this place is awesome. You get what you want, how you want it.

The Hair Whisperer is a very nice place to come for hair styling. I found a real gem in Cerritos. I needed to find a place for my 92 yr old mother for a wash and blow dry once a week. Eva is very professional and very sweet to my mother. She makes mom look great every time we come. She is a very well trained stylist.
The place is very clean and welcoming. Great location too.

Service here is fantastic! I have been going to patrick since i was 4 years old and here i am 19 years old. He really listens to what you want and is patient as he works with you to get the best desired results. I died my hair red and put black highlights in it and he took his time to really do the best job possible.

I love Patrick! He’s absolutely amazing. I always get my hair cut by him. I have ben going to him for 3 years now. I suggest this place to all my friends. If you want to avoid waiting, come when they first open. First come first serve. I find it the best to be in there early before the crowd of people show up about 11am. Also Wednesday if I’m not mistaken Patrick comes in a bit late. Like 10 or 11. Best of luck with your locks.

Patrick is the hair whisperer. He’s super friendly and coined such flamboyant phrases as, «Yes in ingles.»
Expect a meticulous cut, precise lines, and friendly banter. Also, they use some mint hair product during the wash — über comfortable.

I loved what Eva did to my hair. She’s very knowledgeable & knew exactly what kind of do I wanted. Eversince my new hair, I’ve nothing but good compliments from friends. Great service too! She took her time & didn’t rush me despite other customers waiting. My sister is looking forward to coming here & having her hair done here. Will definitely recommend this salon to all my girlfriends & sisters.

I stopped by on a whim and I am so glad that I did. I am headed to TX, and needed a shorter hairstyle. Patrick is hilarious and he cut my hair exactly how I wanted it! He listened to what I was looking for and he got to work. I will definitely be going back! OH and the cut was only $ 30!!!
–I docked it 1 star, because I don’t think they do appointments. I did have to wait about 40 min, until it was my turn. But he did such a wonderful job, I would wait again!
Just as a suggestion, I wish they had a Facebook page that showcased their color and cut portfolios. When I look for a stylist, I want to know that they can cut and do color.
