Great boba. Large menu. Food looks good too but I didn’t try it. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have a very large menu but do it all well.

I have been a customer here from many years ago, and the quality and service has never changed. This is your to-go place to get your Boba drinks, but they also have great appetizers and meals as well. I always order the crispy chicken meal. It comes with the chicken appetizer, rice, Asian Cole, ground sausage, small bites of Taiwanese sausage and a hard boiled egg. Plus they give you a refreshing jasmine cold tea at no extra charge. Not only its delicious but it’s great value. Of course I won’t forget to mention the extremely nice workers, and the owner lady which is one of the most nicest persons I have met in my entire life. Highly recommended!!!

Great drinks(yogurt icy and honey green tea), great food(fried tofu and fried squid balls), friendly staff and nice atmosphere! The drinks were refreshing, and the fried food had the perfect level of spice and seasoning.

Great place to grab a boba tea! Love the service here, there can be a wait of a wait, but once you order drinks come out quickly. Best thing here is their slush, I am partial to the passion fruit and green apple and after trying a lot on their menu, those are the items I stick to. Prices are fair, you can let them know easy ice, not too sweet or whatever your preference is. Service is nice, the place cute and menu extensive, worth a stop while in the area!

Great selection of drinks! Just tried the yogurt frost and it was delicious. My go to drink is the iced taro milk tea with boba and pudding but the hot taro milk tea is amazing! Thank you Jeremy for the recommendation. Great customer service! Not every location has my favorite taro milk tea and the quality here is the best I’ve tried.

This is one of the very first boba places I started going to! I still love it as much as I have back then. They have an extensive menu and I love having options. I love the décor and service. I like how they show you how the boba looks like.

Disgusting. Do not order their berry strawberry lemonade. It taste like pure sugar and water. Looked nothing like the picture hardly any strawberries.

I’ve been coming to this spot for more than 3 yrs. I love the honey like taste the boba itself has. I got some of my friends hooked lol. The lady here is always super kind and friendly. I like this spot.

I did a quick drop in for a milk tea with boba to-go. Super friendly service. The cashier was quite informative. I asked him about the difference between regular boba and honey boba(one is made with brown sugar and other with honey). The large came out to $ 3 and some change. A pretty average price for the drink. I’ve realized that I really like that machine that melts the plastic top on the cup because I can walk around with my cup(before piercing the film) and not worry of any spillage. Ive been to this location quite a few times and will continue to get my boba fix here anytime I’m in the Cerritos town center. Thanks for the friendly service… Check this place out.

Tapioca Express, though it is chain, is my favorite place to get boba, hands down. They were pioneers in Cerritos back in the early 2000s, and are one of the long-standing eateries down at the Cerritos Towne Center(that says something). Though much of their menu has expanded so much since I was just a young teenager, the quality of their boba drinks are still the same. Why of ALL boba places in the entire country do I insist of drinking theirs?(And trust me, I’ve tried my fair share of boba drinks) Tapioca Express does somthing that not many other boba place do: keep their tapioca pearls(boba) warm. It’s not rocket science, so it just baffles me why more places don’t do this, but the balls taste so much better warm(haha, that sounds like something Chef from South Park would sing, but there’s no better way to put it). The bottom line is most shops simply put stale boba into your drink, so you can masticate through their chewy, tough pearls. But no, Tapioca Express keeps their boba warm even if you order a cold drink, so they can easily slide down your gullet without even having to chew them. Ingenius!(Warning: not recommended for people with sensitive throats, you’re at your own risk here) I brought my farm-raised, corn-fed, all-American boyfriend(at the time) from Southern Indiana to try their boba after hearing me rave about the warm pearls. I could tell he was slightly hesitant, since the restaurant where he had his first boba drink, though it was in Kansas, was not that great. Sure enough, he soon proclaimed that he became a fan of their milk tea boba, and to my astonishment, kept taking the drink out of my hands to take additional sips. Hopefully that testimony wins you over!

This place was somewhat tiny. It’s literally on the corner. But conveniently located. The Cerritos Towne Center. When I first got introduced to the world of boba, TAPIOCAEXPRESS was my first, & you never forget your first. Tapioca Express Boba drinks is where I base all of my boba experiences. To this day, I still prefer their Taro Slushy with boba. Nothing even comes close. My other favorite is their Milk Tea with Boba. So refreshing! Finally my last favorite is their Mocha Snow Bubble with Boba. More importantly, all of the locations I’ve visited the taste has been consistent. Except the TE in the Santa Anita Mall kiosk(that place is literally garbage, I’m not sure if it is affiliated with TE, hopefully not, if they are they should drop the name because that spot is making the TE name look very bad!) Anyway, if there is a TAPIOCAEXPRESS near you, then look no further. Not Gong Cha, Not Quickly Not Lollicup.(only if you have to really…) Otherwise, TE is the place for boba. Period.

I very first discovered«boba» here at TapEx at CTC almost 15 years ago. I tried the Milk Tea with boba and have stayed loyal ever since. Having stayed open throughout the years has meant a great deal for a lot of us who live around Cerritos. It is always a treat and still my favorite ‘go-to’ place for boba for these reasons: 1). The boba itself is ALWAYS rich, flavorful, and just the right consistency. 2). This is probably one of the only places in the nearby area that makes an amazing blended Milk Tea Snow, Taro Snow, and Thai Tea Snow. 3). Brian & The Crew!(Past & Present) Because they work hard and deserve to be thanked. I know customer service as a barista can be a tough and often thankless job(due to picky people and overly«high & mighty» Unilocalers)…so I just want to say THANKSGUYS! & Keep It Up! P. S. Hi Grace =] !

Seriously the Best Boba Spot in all of Cerritos, the boba itself is so soft and chewy just the way it should be. Brian is my favorite person to make my drink but everyone does a excellent job. I’ve never had a bad experience here, they get busy after school so I know to avoid those times, but at the end of the day the wait is so worth thei quality of their drinks. I probably come here like twice a week. My favorite is Milk Tea Snowbubble with Boba :) In conclusion, I still have not found a better boba spot than this. It’s going to be hard to top.

Atmosphere: Small coffee shop, 2 tables inside and outside seating available. Ordered Items: Strawberry smoothie with boba and Hot milk tea. Sadly I have had better hot milk tea other places; Tapioca Express didn’t really have anything that stood out. The staff was very friendly. The hot milk tea that I ordered was not hot and it was super sweet. I guess the upside is the location, you could order drinks and sit outside near a fountain and people watch or be cozy on some patio chairs.

I wanted to give a two star, but I’m putting a three just because I love my Almond Milk Tea. Upon walking in the store, there is no greeting or a warm welcome… And it honestly felt like I was being watched like a criminal. I came in and ordered a small Almond Milk Tea light on the ice with no boba, and used my fully stamped redeem card. The cashier seemed like she would have had great potential for customer service. She smiled a lot, but the only problem was the lack of customer service and interaction, but she wasn’t the only one who lacked it. For me, personally, customer service goes a long way, and usually it’s the statement of the business.

Pretty standard tea house, the best word I can use to describe this place is average(not the best, not the worst). I mainly come to this location, because it’s convenient when I’m at the Cerritos Towne Center running errands, and am craving some tea drinks or boba. It’s also easy to come here since it’s not a busy plaza, and it’s easy to park. My faves are the almond milk tea with boba, and the iced jasmine green tea with rainbow jelly. I’ve also gotten the popcorn chicken, which is pretty good, but salty and feels really unhealthy.

Good old Tapex. Best snack complement when you need to study. I haven’t been to a Tapex since college and coming here brought back memories. I went for an iced green tea. It was a little on the sweeter side. Next time I’d ask to tone it down on the sweetness. I also got my usual crispy chicken snack. They don’t really give you as much chicken for how much you pay($ 4.50) at this location which was slightly disappointing. They also skimp out of the sauces. My total came to about $ 9 for a drink and a bit of chicken. A little overpriced if you ask me. The $ 5 minimum is annoying because if you don’t carry cash on you and just want a drink, you’ll probably have to purchase something else. Not the greatest drinks I’ve had. I’d probably consider other nearby options next time.

I’ve been here a number of times and each time I go there I notice lower and lower quality drinks. I went here the other day and ordered two drinks, I paid and not even five seconds later the drinks were ready. Who doesn’t love fast service? But… how do you make two drinks that fast… obviously not fresh at all. Plus the peach tea was wayyyy too sweet and the jasmine green tea didn’t even taste like it. Honestly, they have a large menu but only their regular milk tea is of passable quality. The service is usually pretty nice so I don’t see any use in knocking off stars there. I’m not sure why I gave this place 3 stars… guess I just feel bad to give it less after the millions of times I used to come here in high school. But I won’t be spending $ 3 a drink here any more.

I swear this place has been here since I graduated high school… and that was over 15 years ago(gasp! I am old!) Anyways, I do not like boba. So I came here with a friend who does and she was very pleased with her beverage. I asked if they had anything without sugar and was given a few different teas to pick from. The jasmine green ice tea was very refreshing. Friendly service. Clean location and they are now selling snacks
