Sunshine Park

Absolutely love this local park! It’s well-​maintained by the city of Cerritos, with a baseball diamond, full basketball court, playground complete with swings, and trees. There’s pull-​up bars, benches, a grill and more. It’s a lovely park with something for everyone, right in the middle of a quiet neighborhood. Just remember to respect the residents around the area towards the evening. My only complaint would be that since it’s in a residential area, they lock down the basketball courts around sundown. It’s a great park for jogging or walking too, with the path marked so you can track your progress every time you look down! Sunshine Park is a ray of sunshine in this neighborhood, and brings people together by providing a place for the community to convene, hold events from the city, and just chat with one another while walking their dogs like I do with my dog.
