Enrolled in a DUI program here, the employees are hit or miss. Some can be friendly others can be a little condescending, it’s a solid spot to get your program finished if you live nearby

Darren and Flor are great and make the program enjoyable. I don’t plan to return but if anyone ever needed to take this program I would recommend this place. thank you so much! :)

«We’re not here to tell you you’re a criminal or a bad person, or that drinking is bad…» These were the first words said by my «counselor» at my «treatment program»(AKA ~ Court Ordered DUI Class). It’s quite encouraging as outside of your buddies, he is the only person that will tell you this… rich with«experience»(an exhaustive RAP sheet and/or an addiction problem), they point out to you that your situation is unfortunately common… you look around the room and see a gas station cashier, a real estate agent, a doctor, an old school cholo, a college student, a butcher, an unemployed party girl, etc… the ignorance of your first DUI appears to be a great equalizer. People way smarter than me are as dumb as me =) Hidden in the back corner of a shopping center, between a craft store and a tutoring center for teens is the Southern California Alcohol & Drug Program… INCERRITOS! The class is a pretty large group, and although there are no books or quizzes, there is plenty to learn via lecture, group activities, and through the magic of instructional videos like«Leaving Las Vegas.» The sad fact is that DUIs happen all the time, so there are new people enrolling all the time. Each week, a different topic is covered. For example, you learn about impairment, short term and long term health issues, the law and more. The class is several weeks(dependent on the court’s requirements per your case), but was far less painful than you’d think. I hope you find this review useful, but I hope you never need to use it… Remember: Don’t Drink and Drive… Sip ‘n Swerve! Notes: ~ Available via telephone after 1PM and face to face by appointment only ~ If possible, try to get Mike for your counselor ~ Flexible payment, pay at your own pace… but finish before you complete the program or they will not contact the court for you with the good news ~ AA meetings are required by the court as well as the class. This is different and held in separate location. ~ Some of the gals coming out of Tall Mouse are cute ~ Cerritos Lanes( ) is on the other side of the parking lot, cool place to drink while you’re licenseless ass is waiting for a ride home
