I was a regular here before they moved from beside Seafood City. Now that they have reopened, im not sure if it is the same owners. The tase of the food is completely different than before(not as authentic). Also the cooks are no longer filipino. I ordered all the food items that I normally get from them before and was looking forward to it only to get dissapointed.

Stopped by here to grab dinner when the tofu place was full. Food was fresh and hot with friendly staff. Great place for quick bite and easy parking.

I was planning to eat at goldilocks because I was craving Filipino food for lunch 3 doors down but saw this place. Good luck with finding parking it is a pain! As for overall taste I’d say 3.5 stars! This restaurant is really small and looks clean. The staff is friendly! The food is hot and looks fresh!

Wanted to grab a quick bite around 530pm. Grilled belly was cold and tough. Sauteed bitter gourd was served cold too. Everyone wants to be served a warm meal, so dont expect it from this place. couldnt force myself to eat the meal and just threw it in the trash. Not coming back.

We’ve been regular customers since they were located in the previous area along Norwalk Blvd. the next building beside Seafood city supermarket. Actually it’s the same vicinity/complex with the current one. They just transferred to the other side of the building, beside Cosmetic Surgery Center, along Artesia Blvd. and right in front Myung Sung Noodle Restaurant . I believe they deserved a good review since it’s our second time to visit this new location. Mabuhay Kitchenette is a typical Fast Food restaurant like«point over here and point over there» which is good for dine in and TOGO orders. The quality of cooking is like Home made which gives you a perfect taste of what you are really looking for when it comes to Filipino Cuisine. It would truly satisfy your cravings. It’s affordable and practical for those people who don’t have much time to cook because of busy schedules. On our first visit I ordered Kare-Kare(Pork Ox tail and stripes with vegetables in peanut sauce), Beef Kaldereta(Beef in Tomato sauce) and Sinampalukang Manok(Chicken in tamarind soup based) for take out orders all 3 medium size for only around $ 20. Plenty amount of foods which we even have excess for the next day meal. On our second visit we ordered Bopis, Puso ng Saging(Banana Blossom/Heart) and Chicken Adobo. It’s all tasty and delicious. When it comes to cleanliness they are«Grade A» inspected and graded by the Health department. The place is better than the old location because the area is wide. Plenty of parking space in front and at the back. Conducive for dine in as well. They have TV inside with Pinoy channel. Over all I would be happy to recommend to my friends especially to Pinoys who are looking for quality«Turo Turo» Filipino Hot Foods TOGO.
