I tend to eat at Lamajoon when I go to Cerritos Mall. I usually get the kabob combo and share it with my boyfriend. Rice is good~ The meats are usually tasty too. I feel like the hummus tastes different depending on who makes it that day, but still, good.

If I could give 3.5 stars, I would. I came here while shopping the other day for a quick bite to eat. I absolutely love Mediterranean food and eat it often so this review is sort of a comparison to the other places I’ve been before. The man who took my order was very sweet and helpful. I asked him about the different plates there and he gave me his opinion about each of them(very patiently). I ordered a #4 plate and it came out rather quickly. The reason for my some-what low rating though is because the food was just OK. The meat was a bit on the greasy side and was also kind of chewy, while the rice was pretty bland. I got a side of the cucumber yogurt salad, which was good but there was so much yogurt and just not enough cucumber. The yogurt/cucumber ratio seemed a bit off… I paid about $ 8 something for the plate, but I mostly got a lot of rice, a side, and some chewy chicken.

This place is nestled in the food court of Los Cerritos Mall. I ordered the gyro and it was soooooo bomb! There were huge pieces of meat and lots of tomato, onion, and cucumber! The white sauce on it tied all the flavors together. The bread did a great job holding everything together and soaking up the juices! My order also came with with fries that were lightly seasoned with a red powder. The thickness of the fries were just right, not too thin or thick. Oh and no refills on fountain drinks D; I will be definitely coming back!

Food was OK. Service was horrible. The place where you order was very hot and muggy. The attitude of the people who work there was like they didn’t like being there. I asked for a glass of water and they said they don’t give cups for water. There were tons of plastic cups on the counter. Stick with Subway or another one of the food court places. The staff is much better trained and more pleasant.

I had the #3, which was the Armenian beef Luleh plate. It came with some grilled vegetables, hummus, rice, meat, and a slice of pita bread. Overall, the meal was pretty good for what you pay for. If you want some extra garlic spread, you can always ask the cashier at the front. Other than that, it may not be the best(compared to Zankou), but it is pretty decent meal at a food court.

Usually mall food is 3 stars at best but I really really liked this place. The cashier was so polite and nice I couldn’t believe it. Falafel sandwich was great. I will return.

I can honestly say that they make the best Mediterranean food that I have ever eaten at a food court. Okay, I must admit that I’ve only had Mediterranean food at other food courts only 2 other times. So out of 3 experiences, this has been the best. I only ordered one item from their menu. I chose to try their Chicken Luleh sandwich which costed $ 4.99 plus tax. Yeah, it was a bit pricey but it was tasty. The chicken was wrapped in a pita and filled with tomatoes and onions. I thought that I would still be really hungry after seeing it. Surprisingly, it filled me up and tasted good. I would not hesitate to come back here again. I’d order either the same item or maybe try something different next time. As for customer service, my experience was positive. The woman who helped me was patient and helpful. My order took about 10 minutes. The place was clean. No complaints from me.

BLOT: tasty and healthy alternative to the rest of the food court.(but pricey. about $ 3 more on average, not including the drink.)

If I could give negative stars I would. This was such a bad experience that I don’t even know where to begin. So my husband and I walk up to order, and the young guy behind the counter looked up and didn’t even acknowledge us whatsoever. So we waited a few and he finally took our order, so we sat and waited 20 minutes!!! Weird cause they were not busy at all – and my husband ordered a chicken kabob sandwich, that’s all. I take my little one to get some ruby Thai, we came back to the table, started to eat and my husband was stilllllllll waiting. Seriously? So they finally call his number. he walks over to pick it up and the guy leaves it on a tray and walks away. So my husband calls him back and asks him for sauce and he rudely responds with«no I can’t» what do you mean you can’t? Lol! So my husband leaves back to the table, opens his sandwich and its cold and dry. By now he’s furious! He walks back and asks to speak to a manager and the guy rolls his eyes and tells him to hold on. He comes back and tells my husband he was too busy, what did he need. So my husband tells him.“your customer service sucks, my sandwich is cold and dry I want sauce or something!” The guy rolls his eyes again and responds sarcastically«there’s hummus on it so it can’t be that dry«my husband almost threw the sandwich in the dudes face! Omg! So the guy puts lettuce., while he complained about saying«just because it has lettuce and sauce in the picture doesn’t mean we will give it to you guys like that!» Straight up. F**k that dude and this place. Never again.

Not worth $ 12.99 for a fast food joint. I was going to say you get what you pay for, but it doesn’t apply here. I got the Combo and the Chicken was good but the beef seemed like it was undercooked? I don’t know if they are precooked and grilled, but when I took a bite, it was pretty damn pink. Had to nuke it in the microwave. It was very tender but salty. (3÷21÷2012)

The good is surprisingly great for a food court in a mall.

Nothing over the top amazing about this place, but the food is decent for food court in the mall food. They have gyro wraps and fries, but they are very oily. I had to use extra napkins to wipe them down and get rid of the excess grease. The lady behind the counter was nice, and they do have some tasty side salads. Get the chicken kebab plate, its a lot less oily than the gyro and healthier overall. Overall this place is A Ok,

You guys have the best kabobs in town really really really good food plus its really fresh and most important its made to order my favor plate is the Bulgarian Chicken Kabob with the house mix salad and two tomatoes cuz the jalapenos are hot. and the cool part is that if u are not that hungry u can make it in to a sandwich. I try the Greek salad with some chicken kabob and homemade Balsamic V Dressing really tasty. and last but not lease the service is really good and fast …

The food is good for mall food. In fact, I would eat it outside the mall. It is moderately priced. We had the chicken and lamb gyros. But, they forgot the yogurt(who forgets that with a gyro?) with our order. When my wife asked for it, they seemed annoyed(like a pop and son setup). Not a big deal, when we got the food it was good as was the yogurt, but we ran out. When I went back for another, the cashier told me it would be $ 1.66! Who charges $ 1.66 for sauce? When I pushed back, he said they had a smaller container for 75 cents. In short, the food is good, but the service sucks. I hate restaurants that nickel and dime. If your customers like your food, the sauce is a part of the dish and they should be able to get more for free, or at least a nominal charge. Brush up on the service!

Finally, an option that’s not 1000 calories with 50% of your daily sat fat intake. I haven’t eaten at the Cerritos Mall food court in a while, and everytime I go, it looks a little different. The owner is a real sweetheart! Very warm and welcoming. I had their Luleh Kabob Wrap with cucumber yogurt, and pick-your-own salad. I thought everything was great! The kabob, rice, and cucumber yogurt were perfectly seasoned and cooked. I threw everything into the pita bread to make the wrap but the yogurt made it mushy so it ripped in half. Who cares, it was awesome! The salad with balsamic was really refreshing as well. Be really careful of the jalapeño pepper… i took a nibble and my lips and mouth were burning with no relief for a good 5 – 10 minutes I hope this place stays in business, I’m definitely going to eat here next time.

I happened to be at the mall, rare since I hate malls. I decided to try this place in the food court next to the overpriced Hot Dog On a Stick, first off I don’t expect much from a food court but Holy Shit Balls this place is pretty darn good! The place is clean and they cook to order. I ordered: The Luleh Sandwich special(Chicken) A side of Yogurt The cashier was friendly and recommended I try this sandwich. For $ 3.99 it was packed with chicken, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers etc. wrapped inside a thick, fluffy pita, it was tasty and filling. The yogurt was delicious and I loved it as a dipping sauce for my Luleh sandwich. As I waited for me meal I was easily entertained by the belly dancers displayed on the TV above the counter. Sigh… I wish I can shake my bum like that. Sorry my review is not as cheery as usual, I have a case of the Mondays… blah RANDOMFACT: In Lebanon men are legally allowed to have sex with animals, but the animals must be female

I was getting my car serviced down the street and they dropped me at the mall to keep myself busy for a few hours. I thought to give the olé mall food court a chance instead of trying a restaurant nearby. I decide I want Mediterranean food. It was obvious that the food server/cashier was less than thrilled to be there, and yes, maybe he was having a bad morning… but honestly, a little smile goes a long way. You can see where the rest of my experience is headed… I ordered a gyro meal with fries and a soda. He gave me one napkin, and I asked for more and he seemed a bit irritated by my request by his only customer. After I found a place to sit in the food court, I realized the yogurt sauce for my gyro was missing. I went back to ask for the missing yogurt sauce, and again, I felt like I was interrupting his day. The food itself was at least 3-star worthy, but I suggest management of Lamajoon boost up work morale or customer service training to attract and maintain customers.

My favorite is the Armenian Beef Luleh(ground beef). I’ve had the chicken before and I think it’s a bit too dry. This is probably one of the better food court choices at Cerritos. The employees are friendly but service can be a little slow. I guess everything is cook-to-order so you can’t have it both ways. BTW, the pepper they include in the meal is excruciatingly spicy!!!

I’ve had the falafel salad plate twice now and it has become my go-to falafel dish when I’m in the area. The plate comes with seasoned salad, falafel, tomatoes in tahini, cucumber yogurt, one pita, and pickled turnips. The falafel are shaped like mini donuts and they have an interesting crunch. My theory is that they put uncooked couscous in it. It gives it a gritty texture. I am addicted to both the tomatoes in tahini and cucumber yogurt. I don’t use dressing for the salad and it frankly doesn’t need it due to the seasoning. I could eat the turnips foreverrrrrrrrr.
