1 Stop Carpet Furniture Decor Store

So today I went and I ordered my bedroom set from this amazing place. I love everything about it. Paulette and Hamid were very helpful. I found everything I needed the bed, dresser, night stand and the vanity. Prices are very affordable I’m very excited for my new bedroom and I will for sure refer people to this awesome place.

So I can’t really review the work because Hamid was supposed to come over at «8:30−9“and give us a quote.
We first met him at the showroom and he told me he could come and do the measurements the next day. He knew we didn’t live at the property so he suggested that time so we could make it back home to go to church and needed to get the kids up and ready to meet him and drive over at 8:30 am on a Sunday.
9:30 comes along and no call, no show.
As we are driving back home around 9:45 I get a call and he says he’s leaving the showroom in 5 minutes to head over! He said this nonchalantly as if nothing was wrong with the fact that he hadn’t even left an hour after our appointment time. I told him we left already and he asks when we want to reschedule. I told him we would just go with someone else and he says «ok» and hangs up. No apology for us wasting a trip and an entire morning we could have been enjoying with our family.
Business must be really good to treat a potential customer this way. I hope you don’t give them more business.

This is not about the store. It’s all about the kindness-​business-​style of the owner. Just moved from the South. We bought a house and needed to be upgraded. We found this store look around and talked to Ahmeed the owner. Ahmeed got a very good heart. We mentioned that we are looking for a contractor to fix our house. To make this review short. He came to our house with the contractor. We made a deal, gave him downpayment and they started the job. It was done less than 3 weeks. Paco the contractor worked very hard and everything turned out perfect. I’m not sure if we bought something from the store. But this is the reality. The owner was a middle man. Paco is the man. So if you need to fix or upgrade your house. Look for Paco.

This is my go-​to spot for general furniture needs. Paulette and Hamid are a great couple who offer everything from carpets and kitchen remodels to beds and all other furniture.
We needed to fill our new house with furniture, and were there upon a friend’s recommendation. They carry a number of furniture suppliers — think Ashley Furniture in terms of style and quality, if you are familiar — at wholesale prices. So basically, a few notches above IKEA for, in most cases, less than IKEA prices. And they are indeed the best prices, as I did a little pricing diligence online and over the phone for a basket of items.
In addition to the best prices, they are very attentive and flexible. We had to update our order a number of times, and Paulette was on top of it and patient throughout the process. She was also very open in sharing her insights about which pieces presented the best price/​quality values based on her visits to suppliers’ showrooms.
1-​Stop will always be my first stop, and I highly encourage anybody within 50 miles to consider visiting the store and browsing through the catalogs, a lot of which are available online.

The best carpets, the best flooring materials and the best modern furniture, at the most competitive pricing! The Most Credible and experienced team! When I checked my purchases, it was more than 50% less than similar products sold at other stores. Ask for Hamid!

Moved into a rental that was carpeted and tiled by them and had a problem with some of the related work which the landlord indicated was done by 1 Stop’s installer. I reached out to 1 Stop last week but the girl I spoke to dropped the ball and I didn’t get a callback, so I left a review on here regarding the experience.
Got a call a couple days later from the owner who apparently keeps tabs personally on their Unilocal reviews so he can address problems. He was very professional and apologetic and wanted to remedy the situation.
He personally showed up today ahead of the repairman so that he could take a look at the problem himself. He also explained to me that while his company did install the carpet and tile the problem that was being fixed was the result of a «side deal» between the landlord and his contractor and 1 Stop wasn’t directly involved or aware of the deal until now. He even called the contractor to confirm what actually happened.
Even though the problem turned out to not be caused by work directly contracted through 1 Stop, they quickly fixed the problem since it was done by someone they contracted, even though they were never paid for it.
There are a lot of things that can understandably can go wrong when dealing with companies, but even the worst mistakes can be salvaged through good customer service. Companies that care are increasingly rare, but a company that steps up even when they didn’t directly cause it is even more rare.
1 Stop is one of those companies who actually care about their customer’s experience, and I will not hesitate to recommend them if the opportunity arises.

We were so blessed to find this store during our house renovation project. We just bought the house, so we were in a tight budget during that process. Ahmid and his wife were very professional and helpful. I was so happy with how my kitchen turned out. Ahmid helped me in picking the right colors and materials for the counter, cabinets, and floor. I had 6 people/​companies quote for the kitchen and carpet in the rooms, and Ahmid’s quote was the lowest with the best quality materials. He also gave every wishes I had for the kitchen like the lazy susan cabinets, the soft closed drawers, garbage disposal and the best carpet material my husband can ask for. Not to mentioned that they work really fast too. I gave him our moving date to the house and he kept his promise that everything will be done before the moving date. All the demolition, renovation, kitchen floor, and change of carpet were done in 4 days! Ahmid’s wife, Pauline was also very nice, she always returns our call for any questions we had or made sure that Ahmid will get our message if she could not answer our questions. We were very satisfied in doing business with these couple and I couldn’t wait for our next project with them. This place is highly recommended!!!

This place is the best place to shop for carpet! Excellent customer service, perfect installation. The people here worked with my building schedule and delivered with a smile! I even went back to buy a bed frame and got an awesome deal. I recommend 1 stop carpet very highly. Thank you 1 stop carpets!

As a newlywed, every dollar counts. I’m thankful my dollars went a long way at 1 Stop Carpet & Furniture Décor Store. Thanks to 1 Stop, I’m writing this review sitting on my newly comfortable office chair. My husband and I purchased our office furniture, bedroom set, and dining room set from 1 Stop. We’re waiting to save some funds and look forward to getting our patio furniture from 1 stop, too. The two gentleman and soft-​spoken lady with light brown hair who assisted us were warm and welcoming. They definitely knew the ins and outs about carpeting and furniture, and made my husband and I feel better about our choices.

Instantly when I walked in here I was weary as the salesperson was rather aggressive and a little bit intimidating/​creepy. I instantly got that «used car salesman» vibe from him.
I was very upset that «Hamid» pulled the ol’ «bait and switch» deal with my order. He quoted me a specific quote and assured me that the sq. yard would be within the deal as promised. When he came to measure he gave me the price which was agreed on by me.
Then on the day of installment the installation crew stated that they have the measurements for JUST all 4 rooms (as opposed to from the base of the stairs…250 more square feet approx.).
Upon my trying to get a hold of him (it was installed on a Saturday during the day), he was NOT-​SO-​Surprisingly «away from his desk» and never to be reached. He has yet to contact me further with even the hope of an apology, or an explanation, at the very least!
This is the precise reason why furniture/​carpet/​home installation people get a bad reputation. I am disgusted by this and if it wasn’t for the fact that I payed $ 1500 upfront (half required upon ordering) I would have cancelled my order.
By the way I had to go with what the installation guys had written down which was NOT what Hamid sold me in person in his dingy, old, smelly, «showroom». He sold me carpet from the BOTTOM of the staircase up.
DEEPLY DISSAPPOINTED with this horrid place. I hope fellow Unilocalers heed my advice (and their instinct as when customers walk into the «showroom» there is an undeniable creepy/​eerie vibe to it) and keep your wallets out of here!
