Had a late lunch… My coworker and I were starving and didn’t know what to go for. So I decided to get some Unilocal and found this spot. It was a weird experience cause we wanted to dine in and we walk in and get greeted but that’s it lol… Like no asking if we’re there for dining in, no you can have a seat anywhere, no come with me and I’ll seat you… Just a hi, and that’s it. So we kinda pointed at a table and he shook his head and we sat. Lol. We had to go back to the counter and ask for the menu. Finally someone came and got our order. From the tips I saw here I had to try to garlic knots and we also got a chicken bbq pizza. I have to say, the garlic knots are awesome! They taste really good! The pizza was pretty good too! It was made fresh. It took a while for them to make the pizza so I assume that the everything was made to order. The pizza was comparable to something like BJ’s pizza…(I guess)? It obviously is better than your average fast food pizza, but it didn’t stand out. So the food is good, the service was a zero… I would have given 2.5 stars but I just rounded up to 3… I don’t think I’ll be returning unless I can’t anywhere else to eat… Lol(hopefully that won’t happen!)

It’s more like Chicago-style pizza. It’s a bit doughy and a thick crust. We ordered our usual — sausage pepperoni and garlic. I ate the cheese and toppings because the dough was getting me full. The Chinese Chicken salad was okay. It had cashews which was a plus.

Used to be great. No anymore. Portions went way down, prices up. Not really worth it. Server SAW we only had one set-up, and brought us a fork instead of a fork/knife/napkin. There were only a few people there, yet we still had to ask(and then wait for) for water, napkins, check, etc. The worst part? They mopped using a strong ammonia… while we were eating there. So we cut our losses and left a bit hungry. Too bad. They used to be so much better. In fact, they used to be great. Maybe the other locations still are.

Can you say rude? I try to focus on the food however here its not good enough to skip a review of the service. The pizza here is average but the attitude is above average rude. I ordered over the phone he was eager to take my cc info but very impatient when I asked for the total and asked, «do you want it or not»? If you’re in the Westwood area its worth going to Lamonicas instead.

The pizza was nice and hot and the vegetarian salad was great(I love the dressing) but the garlic knots were cold.

I watched the disaster that is delivery order logistics here and was glad I picked up a slice in person. It was delicious. The calzone was pretty heavy. The pizza tastes about as healthy and fresh as pizza can taste, although it’s lacking some zest.

Delicious garlic balls, NY salad and of course the pizza was outstanding. At lunch hour we were greeted and served promptly! Gustavo is the owner/manager and could not have been friendlier.

Here’s a quick review: I’ve only done delivery. Johnnies is a cool pizza joint that hits the spot if you’re looking for a quick delivery in the area. The guy who answers the phone is fairly nice and cracks a few jokes, making the ordering experience a little more entertaining than the rest. During lunchtime, he’ll quote that delivery will take 45 minutes, from my past experience, we got our pizza in 30. Sweeet. The PIZZAITSELF: a little on the pricey side, $ 26 for a large with 3 toppings. Cheesy and the crust is pretty good. I’m no pizza snob or have a great passion for pizza, but it gets the job done. It came delivered super fresh and hot. PLEASENOTE: it’s New York style, from my past experiences of grabbing the slices from the box, the toppings are prone to sliding off. The center of the pie can get a little soft as the crust is super thin and the overload of toppings can make it slightly soggy. Overall, it’s not bad and pretty delicious. Topping to crust ratio is on the higher end which is what I like!

The pizza here is really good like super good and the pizza sizes are really big and the pricing is actually not bad the seating area is fun and you can sit inside or outside and the service is great. But there’s no bathroom and and that’s kind of an issue for me but the food is so good that I don’t even care!

I had a slice of pizza and a coke $ 6.85.(Pizza was fairly priced-coke was flat). The crust of the pizza was perfect — thin and a little well done(my request). The limited service I needed was rude. It was 3:00pm on a Sunday — how can you be so rude when there is only two people needing anything from you. I thought maybe she was having a bad day, but nope, shift change and her replacement trumped her attitude by far. Oh well.

Terrible and rude service cold food not the best place to go to. If you are in the area stop somewhere for a better experience I should have read the reviews before.

Why is Johnnie’s getting bad reviews??? :( Every time I come here it’s very good! My friend has an office down the street and we like to have dinner here sometimes. The pizza is yummy and the salads are great too. The ingredients are fresh, the price is right and the service is friendly.

Cold pizza, sub-par pasta &NO management on-site! Called in an order for a delivery of a large White Pie and pasta. Was told it would be a hour. It was Saturday @ 5:30p & didn’t give it another thought. Should have known better! The delivery took 1 hour 50 minutes! The pizza was cold & the crust was burnt. The pasta dish was sub-par & no bread. Called to speak to a manager & was told by the person answering the phone«You tell me the problem». After trying for a few minutes to get a manager on the phone, I was told that no management works on the weekends. No wonder you get slow deliveries & sub-par food. I have asked for a manager to call us at their earliest convenience, which will probably be Monday if we are lucky. Will update if any change in our situation.

Love this pizza! No such a place like this one. They provide delicious and high quality of mozzarella cheese and other ingredient! They also make it fresh: only takes about 10 – 15 min. Worth to waiting for this delicious pizza

I ordered the johnnys combo calzone and a diet coke. The calzone was hot and fresh out the oven. The crust was perfectly crispy but still doughy and chewy. There was a substantial amount of cheese which was tasty but I scraped about half of it off… Which worked out since I ended up eating most of it with the complimentary garlic knots(which were okay but a little too bland for me, hence the appreciated addition of cheese) the pepperoni was good but there wasn’t enough of it. Think I had maybe 5 slices in my entire calzone.(Yes I ate the whole thing) the peppers and onions were satisfactory but the sausage was blah so I didn’t eat it. Tasted very processed and cheap. Overall I mostly enjoyed the dough and happily demolished my entire meal. I look forward to returning only next time I’ll try the pizza. On another note my friend ordered the meatball sandwich and that was definitely not worth ordering again. I’m pretty big on meatball sandwiches so my standards are high. I expect a fresh, delicious and crispy bread graced with a wet and delectable red sauce with a savory cheese and an abundance of meat. I thought the bread here was bland like a stale version of a subways subpar loaf. The sauce was forgettable, the cheese didn’t save it and the meat was just okay. Even the presentation was discouraging. Still I enjoyed my meal and recommend stopping here for a quiet and vibrant dining experience. There’s a nifty parking lot right around the corner as well.

I was hoping this would be a good place to grab some dinner after some beach time. Unfortunately it was not the place to be. The free garlic bread was bland and flavorless. In fact me and my guest put salt and cheese to give it some flavor. That was not the end of it however. We ordered a large pizza that set us back $ 20. Well with plenty of cheese and peppers the pizza was ok. If you are looking for ok pizza this is your stop. I suggest keep walking and finding another place to dine.

LUNCHSPECIALS. That’s all you need to know. Just kidding. Sorta. This place was right across the street from my work. Cute, but small space. There is a LITTLE parking lot thats in the back, and I mean little like… if you don’t drive a prius, don’t try to squeeze in here. Got the lunch special — which is either a combination of pizza & salad, or pasta & salad… The salad(I got the ceasar) was great. LOTS of pepper and parmesean which I love. However, my coworkers got the other salad(I think it was mediterreanean) and that looked amazing so I’ll have to try that next time. Pizza — thick crust, saucy, cheesy. Good portion for a «personal size» pizza. Definitely had to roll myself back to work after.

I’ve walked by Johnnie’s(on my way to Clementine’s) and ordered via delivery quite a few times(both directly from Johnnie’s and through Seamless), but thought it was about time for a review! FOOD *LOVE the garlic knots — doughy, garlicy, buttery(not tooooo much, but just right) *Pizzas are good. Thin-crust style, though the slices are ginormous… 2 slices is essentially 4, to me. I like the BBQ chicken and their pepperoni isn’t bad. *Salads are also good. Simple with tons and tons of greens, but I’ve tried(and liked) the caesar, bbq chicken, and NY chopped. The full is HUGE, so prepare to share! Can’t complain about service b/c it’s always been delivery, but I’d say this is a solid pizza place if you work in Century City(but you probably already know that) and a decent place to swing by if you’re driving around(though parking is partially residential and can be hard to find when it’s rush lunch time).
