Outstanding experience! Omg and wow on the tip of my tongue throughout my dinner. Food was phenomenal and staff extremely attentive.

Family stayed a couple nights at Great Wolf Lodge but we knew better than to eat there. Found Boccata thanks to the reviews on Unilocal. Our entire party of 6 agreed that it was a great decision. Everything was fantastic, even the kids’ linguine with meatballs! I would definitely return if I’m in the area again.

I know it sounds weird… But the children’s meat linguine was awesome! As were all three of the full meals that were ordered. The chocolate brownie pudding thing for dessert was divine! I’m sorry I can’t remember all the names of the entrees we ordered, but the braised pork that was daily special was great as was the sweet sausage penne pasta. My father loved his tortellini. Even the starter Greek salad was fantastic. We were there for dinner and service was great too. Everyone in our party of six ranging in age from 3 to 64 loved their meals. The only down side is the restaurant is 100 miles from our home.

Food was just okay. Maybe it was what I ordered. but service was great, and it had a nice atmosphere. I will probably try something other than the risotto next time. Extra star for great service.

They have such a great selection that I have not experienced as of yet but will. I know this may sound rather odd but I cannot get past the tuna, provolone and caper sandwich. I’m addicted. The bread that they use is simply tasty and I have not found this texture elsewhere. I awoke thinking about it this morning and when I finally went there today they were closed. My mistake. They should have time off as well. Do yourself a favor and try them out as I do think you will not be disappointed! Friendly and often busy both for take out as well as inside dinning is common. The owner Darin is always friendly. I was told by the owner that they make a great pizza as well… can’t wait to try it! Enjoy! David S

We stopped here as a break from Great Wolf Lodge’s touristy fast food. This is a mom-and-pop joint with food made to order. However they were understaffed and it took almost an hour to get our food even though the place was less than half full. Still they have really good reviews because the food is good and I would give it another try just not on a holiday week.

YUM! This place was a great find. We had the warm meatball sandwich, falafel pita, and a chicken Caesar salad and they all received rave reviews. We loved that the Caesar dressing is made with anchovies! So good! We also got the soup du jour, potato and squash, and oh my goodness it was fantastic. To round out the meal we shared the chocolate cake-type(the name eludes me) dessert and all I can say is that it was one of the best things I’ve ever put in my mouth. The texture was unexpected, the flavor perfect and layered, and the berry drizzle was just enough. We will be coming here again!

Awesome place. I know the daughter of the owners and can tell you this is a very well run and tasty spot. I’ve been there a handful of times and really enjoyed their food and service. All in the heart of downtown! Definitely recommend it to anyone in the area if you enjoy Mediterranean dishes.

Stopped in right when they opened at 11am. Darin greeted me at the door to take my order. I asked for 2 #13s(Greek Vegetarian Pita… OMG). Within 5 minutes my order was ready to go. This was a quick trip, usually we eat in, but I was on the run that day. Boccata is my #1 favorite restaurant and I have recommended it to friends time and time again.

Stopped here for dinner while driving down the coast, was greatly surprised by the class and quality of this cute spot. Late night Italian feel, outdoor seating, chilled bottles of water, warm garden lights overhead. Don’t let the deli look(for daytime) fool you, dinner is dinner from menus with antipasti, pasta, pizza, paella, seafood, meat entrées. We had seafood linguini(excellent), zuppa pescatore(like a cioppino, great flavor, kick and sauce), chicken souvlaki skewer(moist and flavorful, rice and veggies great too). Balance, presentation, quantity all on point. It was a warm night, AC maybe broke, but i felt like i was back in Italy again. All together the food, charm, service(Dylan, ur cool), and atmosphere made this night special.

Amazing! Everything on the menu is made from scratch! Pasta! Steak! Ribs! Lamb! Seafood! Sandwiches! Nothing beats home made quality food! The restaurant has been open for 11 years and it is a local gem. If you are a local or traveling it is worth checking out for sure!

Great custom pizza I loved the feta cheese and bacon pizza, you ca seat outside and enjoy nice weather, installations how ever are not very high quality, the restroom has a nice old classic style touch. Definitely a place I would visit again

Go to Boccata! Their Mediterranean fare compared well with top Med restaurants in much bigger cities. Like a visit to Europe. Love their lamb, chicken, pork… everything I’ve had here is very good!

I tried the pitas here a while back. The food is pretty good but the portions are comically small for the price. Service is ok, not what I would expect from the reviews I read. Atmosphere has a homey feel, not unlike similar establishments in bigger cities. If you are looking for Mediterranean fare, you don’t have many other options. Nothing that makes me want to go back though.

Came for dinner, we had ribs, chicken special, and pita lamb thing. In the world order this place is a borderline 2 or 3. NOTHING unique or special. Service people were nice, tipping the scale. Definitely not worth the high cost. No idea how it has the rating it does.

Best falafel pita ever. And I’ve tasted many falafels. It tastes different from the traditional falafels. Must be the sauce. Pita bread was also good. Please tell me it’s homemade. ;) The restaurant has a charm and small town warmth to it. The spacious bathroom has a changing table, a plus for mothers with babies, and the restaurant carries a few high chairs for toddlers. Overall, excellent food with excellent service. Can’t wait to return!

I am definitely a fan of this lovely restaurant. I cannot believe that Centralia holds so many culinary delights! My mom and I had lunch here. She had the 15 – 16 an item not on the menu but was a chicken pita with the avocado salad. I had a falafel pita. The pita makes these pitas.(I know, duh!) They were so warm, moist, and fresh and they held up! No crumbling pita and then pita innards going everywhere. Made it very easy to eat! The aioli was also delicious! Garlic! Mmmm… We had the soup too, it was good but I cannot remember what it was but that says more for how good the pita was. This place prices their food right on the money. A pita was $ 6.50+tax. Perfect. It was all I needed and I did not think they skimped on anything. Only negatives that I only write because I like this place: 1. The menu board: makes it seem like only a lunch place. 2. The counter: too tall and the refrigerated case is way over on the side and things are covered in saran wrap. Makes it feel a little less classy. It would be kind of cool to have a sit-at bar instead of that huge counter. Happy Hour Hummus plates and 50% off glass of wine? Please?

My first trip to Boccata was a wonderful one. I wanted to take my dad to lunch for his birthday and this is the place we decided upon. The restaurant is big, open and nicely decorated. They have a big reader board for their lunch items(which is what we were there for). My dad got their tuna sammich and I got their cold cut sammich(we both had them on a baguette). We also got an order of their of their bread with smoked mozzarella and aioli. They use good cheese and their bread toasts up really nicely but at the same time it is chewy. My sammich was so good! I loved the cold cuts they used and the vegetables were fresh. I love the way they prepared their lettuce. It looked like green leaf and was chopped really fine. The whole sammich was a lot of food but I wrapped it up and took it home and it kept well. My dad liked his sammich as well but he said that next time he would try the meatball sammich on the ciabatta bread. Their ciabatta looks really excellent. It is covered in seeds! I bought my mom a sammich, as she was feeling under the weather and couldn’t come with us. I got her the chicken pita. She loved it remarking that the chicken breast was moist and flavorful. The guy running the counter was helpful and friendly. He had good suggestions and I would love to try their dinner! The prices for lunch were good, especially for the amount of food that we got. I’d like to take my husband here next time we visit.
