This is a great place to bring the family for a morning outing. There are a ton of blueberry bushes to pick from. They provide the buckets for picking and a flat to bring them home. They charge by the pound and on this visit they were $ 2/lb. Very laid back, not a big production. Plenty shade to escape the sun and a pond with a nice fountain. Above all, you are picking your blueberries from the bush it was grown from. This is the true definition of fresh and local. We will definitely be back. Just be sure to refer to their Facebook page before driving out there. They could be randomly closed or they may not have any more berries ready to be picked.

This is by far my favorite blueberry farm near Baton Rouge. It’s a short 30 minute drive to this beautiful property which feels like you’re on a vineyard. The path in is welcoming and you immediately see tons of blueberry filled trees. There is a small hill on the property which my 3 year old loves to run up and down and there’s a small pond with a water feature that adds to the blissful atmosphere. The blueberries are always delicious and plentiful. They do not spray the berries so there’s no need to worry about pesticides. The icing on the cake is that the family that owns and operates the farm are such wonderfully friendly people! Berries are $ 2 per pound. Be sure to check their Facebook page before going to be sure they are open. They will only open when the berries are ripe. And they get picked out quickly some times so go as soon as they open for easier picking.
