I am not surprised this want a be bagel store doesn’t have the guts to change the name which they did like at least a year ago, it is called HUDSONVALLEYBAGELS. This place is the worst bagel store I have ever been in. If you do not go in before 9:00am the Bagels are hard, they are never the same size and if you are not there by 9:00am you probably won’t get the kind of bagel you want. They actually make only 6 or 5 of some of the less selling bagels, I would argue if they made more they would sell more. I over heard a customer saying to another customer and I quote«I don’t care if they have to throw away a dozen bagels at the end of the day, you can’t be down to 5 kinds of bagels on a Sunday at 9:00am, I am not coming back» This place has different workers on the weekends and has no idea what they are doing, they have some small register that everyone has to ring things in which takes so long. and lastly they have 2 toasters that we all have as home again which takes so long I just do not toast my bagel. I am done, I will not return, I will drive 3 miles and go to BAGELWORLD which is a real bagel store that always has the flavor bagel you want

Not Just Bagels is often my first stop on some early morning commutes. I am always welcomed by the first ray of sunshine when I walk through the door. The staff at Not Just Bagels is always cordial and responsive, even at the worst time of day with the deli busy as a beehive, they work efficiently and are usually thorough in completing your order. All the sandwich’s and dishes are amply portioned and a nice selction of coffees is always waiting for you. Oh ! and they have a great bagels !

The bages are ok if you like small hard bagels. Sorry but this place does not know how to make a NY Bagel, need big warm FRESH bagels, someone said it above, the hole in the bagel is bigger than the bagel itself. The cream cheese spreads are good but not worth it for the small bagel they come one, this place needs to step it up otherwise I am going to keep going over to Monroe for my fresh baked bagels.

I honestly just don’t understand how this place is in business. I suppose because its only direct competition is Dunkin and New Yorkers don’t like to eat at Dunkin. The hole in the bagels are bigger than the bagels themselves. This is NY! I want big, fluffy, warm, delicious, flavorful bagels. I seriously believe that anyone can open another bagel place in Woodbury and they’d be out of business in an instant. I always drive to Monroe, but sometimes I am in a time crunch. Whenever that happens, I always kick myself. Not worth the calories/dollars for this hole-filled bagel.

The bagels are always warm and the spreads are quite fine. The coffee is very good. The owner-operator is the kind of lady that you want to chat-up in the morning, if you’re a slow-starter. My guess is that her flank is her daughter, whom is also very easy on the ears. I still haven’t gotten past the typical bagel-shop breakfast fare, though I do have high expectations for when I delve into the lunch choices.

I love this place! I go in for ice coffee(the best around!) And I usually end up leaving with a bagel. They are always fresh and amazing. They have green olive cream cheese. Hard to find! So good. The staff is always great too. If you are in the central valley area I suggest you stop on here!
