I’d have to agree with the critics, this place is not awesome. We used to come a few years ago and thought it was decent but we moved away for a couple of years and are sad to say after today’s visit that quality of the food has gone down. Things were mislabeled, the shrimp wasn’t cleaned, the sushi was mediocre to poor and the service was lackluster. The best parts were the miso soup and the ice cream. Everything else was thumbs down.

This place is a bus stop not a legitimate restaurant. As hungry as I was I just couldn’t justify eating any of the food in this place. I mean they sell drinks and snacks including candy bars… I’ve never been to a Chinese restaurant or sushi restaurant and seen kit kats and snicker bars lining the drink coolers. My suggestion??? Use the bathroom and pack your own snacks. The food will probably make you sick and it’s 2 ½ hours from here to NYC… You don’t want to risk catching the runs and having to hold your cheeks tight until you get to a bathroom.

The Sushi is horrible. Most prefer the Chinese buffet. The Chinese buffet is below average compared to even cheap NYC restaurants. If you go to this place after 8PM the food is not fresh and has been laying around on the buffet table, The worst part of this restaurant is the woman who acts as cashier. I don’t know if she is part owner, but I do know that she is beyond the rudest restaurant employee I have ever met. She followed me around as I took food from the buffet. Fresh food was brought out and I took the utensil and put the two items back on the plate from an untouched container and took 2 fresh ones. She screamed at me and told me to that I can’t do that. I told her that she was completely inappropriate and that in the USA we don’t treat patrons like that. She couldn’t care less. She should return to Communist China where this kind of behavoir is normal

Have been here multiple times during the stopover between boston n nyc. Food — All you can eat sushi or lunch. A really wide spread. The sushi is generally fresh. Personally preferred the non Americanized ones without mayo. Service — interacted only for billing. Ambience — clean set up. Cost — $ 10 per lb for sushi. $ 8 per lb for regular lunch.

A great variety of food is available for a reasonable price. For lunch you can eat unlimited food for about $ 10. If you are a sushi lover, this is definitely a place to give a try. I have been to several restaurants that offer all-you-can-eat sushi, but this place is by far the best. Freshness of the food depends on the time that you visit there though. When it gets crowded, they refill the plates more frequently and food waits less, which is what you would prefer. So keep this in mind.

Spit out almost every piece of sushi… Had been sitting for such a long time it literally started getting hard around the edges More of a bus stop than a restaurant… Again LITERALLY

This is the first all you can eat sushi buffet I have been able to find in CT. I wish they would make one in Fairfield county, we really need one and it would do great! This is a very clean place and the sush is good. I wont lie I have had better. The selection is mediocre compared to others in NY and NJ. If you live in the Manchester Uconn area try it its pretty good! A very good value too.
