This is a hard review to rate because on one end the service was amazing, on the other it was terrible. I’ll start out with the good. Came here to buy granite counters for my new home and was lucky enough to meet with Jim. One of the friendliest, knowledgeable, helpful people I’ve met. If it weren’t for Jim, I wouldn’t have come back after dealing with the next person. Came in last weekend after closing and getting measurements for our counters. After Jim printed everything up and put it in a neat package to make it as easy for us and the cashier as possible, I get in line with Fran. She was rude, short, and yelled at my girlfriend and I because of the 10% coupon Jim gave us was the wrong one and not starting for 2 more days. She made zero effort to try to see if it would work, or find some sort of workaround or another coupon. She looked at it and rudely said it wasn’t any good. I went back to ask Jim about it and he came up to try to talk to Fran but she wasn’t hearing it. Not from him or from us the customers. I was so tempted to walk out right then and there and spend my $ 4000 elsewhere but came back 2 days later when Jim was once again waiting for us with all new paperwork and he hand walked it up to the cashier to make sure we got someone who would help us.

Walked around for twenty minutes looking for several items and passed numerous employees talking to each other. Not one asked if they could help. They weren’t busy and I’m sure I looked completely lost but they were just too engrossed in their personal conversations to ask if I needed anything. I got fed up and went down the street to Lowe’s.

Looking over the other reviews I would say this is a pretty good Home Depot. Unfortunately my experience was with the cabinet shop. We have been trying to remodel our kitchen since Jan. 7, this is the middle of Aug. Lost orders, one employ says one thing another says something else causing confusion and delays, cabinets ordered wrong multiple times, Employee trying to work from home due to a bad back and not knowing whats going on in the store and a manager who could not care less about the whole thing. Stay away from Home Depot cabinet department. If you don’t you will regret it.

Moving from LA to dayton, it was weird to visit Home Depot without being greeted by an army of illegal mexicans slamming your car and screaming Trabajo, Paintura, I can do everything! — Yeah, sure you can. Or look for a parking spot for 40 minutes on 3 different levels without success or being ran over by some red necks cart inside the packed store. For my surprise, it was the mellowest Home Depot branch ever, clean, mellow, quiet, and very organized. I really wish all branches would look that way. I must thank Jen for making our experience rock! We started painting our house but we don’t have a clue about the different kinds of paints, primers etc… I grabbed Jen for one question that became about 30 questions… She made it so much clearer for us and she took care of us like we were family. Not trying to embarrass you Jen but I want to personally thank you for the great service from the bottom of my heart. We wish every business would be managed by somebody like Jen. Made our day! Yalla Bye!

The best onsite experts. Electrical, plumbing, flooring. I do alot of jobs at home and these guys always have the best advice and guidance. Super helpful, have saved me a ton of time. This is why I go here and not to Lowes — their expert guys arent as good.
