ABC Pediatrics

If I could give this pediatricians office no stars, or even negative stars, that would be much more fitting. I have never in my life been so disgusted with a doctors office. Where to even start. They have the worst office staff. Between their lack of knowledge on anything and their horrible bad attitudes, I hated having to deal with them. Especially the blonde at the check out desk. So at 3 weeks old my child was diagnosed with RSV. No big deal, except by the 4^th day it wasn’t getting any better. I called the office to explain what was going on. The girl told me she would speak with my doctor and call me back in regards to bringing my child in to be seen or not. That was at 9:30 in the morning. No one called me back. It wasn’t until I called them back at 4pm, I was told the doctor felt my child was fine. Thanks abc for following through with the call back. So a few more days go by and we had my child’s one month apt. My husband and I both separately put the date and time in our phone calendars and had it the same. We never received a reminder phone call even though they had both our correct phone numbers. Anyways. We went for our appointment and we were told we missed it. After that frustrating argument I asked if they could put us in for a sick appointment that day at some point so a dr could listen to my child’s lungs from the RSV. The staff refused to do so and told us to come back in a week for the make up well appointment. I should have left that office then. But didn’t. My child had severe constipation issues after they hit a month old. It got to a point they had not had a bm for 5 days and were so uncomfortable. I called again for a sick appointment. Waited 30min in the waiting room. Fine no big deal. I was then taken to the room to be seen where we then waited for an hour and twenty minutes for the doctor to come in and see us! I was livid. Then the dr just looked at my child, never once doing any kind of exam, and said change the formula. This happened 4 times until I finally had enough and switched to a new doctors office. My child was treated the first time we went and we haven’t had any issues since. I will always warn people of abc and how horrible they are!
