New chef made an amazing stuffed flounder, best I’ve had. I can’t wait to see the new things he will bring in.

I’ve been meaning to update this for a while. So they haven’t had a band the past couple times I’ve been here and I think that helped peel back the façade. The beer is very expensive. $ 7 for a Sam Adams in Midtown Manhattan — sure. In middle of nowhere Long Island? No way! Service always seems to have a chip on their shoulder, I guess because I’m from out of town. I’m not sure if the crowd is odd, or on point with what I should expect from long island. Last time I was here two guys met for a lightsaber battle in the parking lot. I will never understand Long Island, nor this bar in particular. Seems to be the rage with the locals though.

It was our first time going the décor is extremely nice, very clean, very inviting. Great pub atmosphere, the food was really good, portions were plenty the prices were slightly higher than most pubs. overall we would definitely go back again with friends. We had 20 wings and the wing selection is excellent in terms of types and varieties of sauces. We also had the app. Combo which was plenty of food for two of your having a couple of beers as well. The beer prices seemed high. I had a Red Wagon beer and it was $ 8 and change! However, the Sam Adams lager at $ 7, still seems slightly high. AGAIN. would recommend it and will go go back.

I’ve been to many bars, mostly on Long Island. Buckley’s Irish Pub is one of the best. I went there this past Thursday night, the DJ was awesome, played great music! The crowd was a mix of mid-late 20s to early 40s. I had an aweseom time!

Nice place to have a drink or two. Pricey if you’re staying longer. Not a great menu. Typical frozen bar food prepared on demand. Not a dive bar. Super clean half restaurant /half bar.

My husband and I have been here a few times. Love the décor, comfortable with a touch of class. Food is awesome! Homemade French fries are an amazing complement to your meal. Bartenders have always appeared friendly and professional both in manner and appearance. There was one visit where we were unhappy with our waitress though. It looked as though she was too interested in hurrying back to the bar to chat with the other waitstaff and bartender, becoming loud with her conversation. Only reason why I gave a four star rather than a five star review. We will definitely go back.

Clam chowder soup is fantastic. Still a fan of this place. Bartenders are cool and the food here is always good. Nice place to go to watch sport games and hangout with friends.

Good atmosphere great food. Everything you’d expect from a local Irish pub, plenty of beers on tap! Most nights there are people of all ages at the bar. Thursday night is a wing special in which it fills up with a much younger crowd.

Not a big fan. Tried it twice and food was average at best. Burger was okay but fries were greasy and seemed very old. Wings were so-so at best. Overall not impressed and would not be back. Also, the place is very loud. Horrible acoustics.

Had a delicious medium rare(true medium rare) burger here. Any place that has angry orchard on tap as an alternative for those of us who aren’t beer drinkers is ok in my book. Beautiful décor, friendly bartenders, good food, nice spot on a Sunday afternoon.

I love what they did with the place inside since they reopened but the food is just so-so. The bar area is nice but usually very crowded and loud. Although they offer daily specials the regular menu itself is pretty blah. If your into fried appetizers and burgers then this is the place for you !!

The place looks great since they reopened after the fire they had. They now have the dining tables separated with a partition wall which drowns out bar noise and has booths or tables to sit at in a clean, comfortable setting. I love an Irish Pub with a good black & tan and was looking forward to trying one. Nice to know they have Harp here for a genuine Irish version ;) and was made well, ahhhh. We had corn fritters to start which came with a horseradish dipping sauce. Loved the fritters, nice and crunchy outside with a soft, warm sweet corn and creamy inside. The dipping sauce was good as well. I had a burger with sautéed onions. I wouldn’t say it was the best burger ever but, was tasty and I gobbled it all up. Service was good, our waitress was very friendly and accommodating.

Ordered take out $ 17.95 for a chicken pot pie! No sides, no salad and it wasn’t even that great. Better off going to Miloski’s poultry farm and buying a homemade chicken or turkey pot pie, so what if you have to cook it, for $ 6.99 you get food that is excellent!

Al Around Rotten Experience. Went there on a Saturday night. The music is blasting techno disco — perfect for a pub where there is no dance floor and some people might want to socialize, or at least hear themselves think. The wait staff was in disarray, headed by a hostess who spent her time texting when she was actually at her station. I ordered a chesseburger, medium. My wife had a «farmhouse» salad for 12.99, and added chicken for an extra 5.99. After waiting for 30 minutes, during which time our eardrums took a beating, our food came. The burger came incinerated. The salad was what I would expect as an appetizer. The extra chicken looked like a few string shoe french fries. Couldn’t wait to get outta there. Kind of doubt I will be back anytime this decade.

Great place to come and meet up with the guys after a long night at work. Me and my buddies go on Thursday nights and get the Miller Light and Buffalo wings special for $ 20 from 10 – 1.

Newly Re-Opened! Lots of drink specials, and daily specials on wings, entrees and the like. They’ve done a beautiful job widening the dinning area, elongating the bar, and adding a ton of Flat-Screen TVs for a real Sports-Bar atmosphere. The food is rich and comforting, just like pub food should be! They have a ton of cool beers on tap, and even an eco-friendly tap wine system. I’ve been here a LOT since they opened, and I absolutely love it. They get REALLY busy for their Thursday night all-you-can-drink thing though, so if you don’t want to be in a packed out bar I would avoid that night. Also the football games can get a bit loud, so if that not your scene, try coming for lunch, or during the week.

Never thought the original place was too special, but the New and improved Buckley’s is quit a place. They obviously sunk big money into this place, the place looks awesome and authentic. Its very cozy at both the bar and the dinning area. The bar area is very big, great place for a gathering of friends. They have a nice selecting of brews, with several micro brews on tap. Food is very good, I especially like the burger. It’s a lot if typical pub fare with some traditional Irish dishes as well; Shepard s Pie, Bangers and mash etc. Highly recommend, I think I’m going to become a regular here!
