Walgreens

Possibly the rudest pharmacist ever. Fully looked at me in line but chose to ignore me and make a personal call right in front of me where she largely discussed how annoying her customers were for coming in 15 min before closing. Hello! It’s because we are sick and miserable and need our prescription. She continued talking about her friends dating life and other personal business for 10 min.
Mercifully after she dismissively walked away her assistant grabbed a box of tamiflu and checked me out. It was pre boxed the whole time. Took 30 seconds

Love this Walgreen’s. The Pharmacy is great too and very professional. Darlene, Lee and the rest of the amazing staff have always gone above and beyond to call if there is an issue or a question regarding a script. They take the time to help me with any question my family or I might have even if they are busy. I will say there are times they need to have more people staffed at the pharmacy because they are always slammed but they try their hardest to serve everyone as quickly as possible. Kudos to you guys! The store staff is always so sweet and helpful too. I only wish they had a Redbox at this location too. That’s really the only complaint I have.

My husband went to fill my prescription today and was told to come back and pick it up in a half hour. He came back and was told it wasn’t available because they have 24 hours to fill a controlled med. The tech said she would get the pharmacist and he said «please do.» The tech came back and said that they wouldn’t fill it. The pharmacist didn’t speak to him. When I called for an explanation I was told that the script was one day early. I explained that my doctor wrote it for today and she said that didn’t matter. The most likely explanation is that they refused to fill the script because my husband is African American because they were acting very strangely towards him.
I took the script to the walmart pharmacy and spoke to the pharmacy manager about what happened and he looked at me like that was the craziest story he ever heard. He said he had never heard of A pharmacy refusing legitimate script from a doctor with the correct date.
I will never shop at or use walgreens pharmacy again thanks to the unprofessional and racist assumptions of pharmacist Lee H.

I love this Walgreens. The staff who work here, from the register to the pharmacy, are all so nice, fun, and helpful. I never used to have much of an opinion about Walgreens, but this location has made me a big fan.

Good place and friendly service. Usually pretty busy location. But they did have everything in needed.

This location is subpar. Doesn’t use any notification system to let you know if there is a problem with your meds or when they are ready compared to other locations.
Eta– they have improved somewhat. I now get notifications when my meds are ready but they still screw them up once in awhile with insurance. It’s much better though.
Eta — have messed up my meds multiple times, given me another patients meds, lies about when they are in which has resulted in having to go off them because they said they weren’t in when they were. Screws up insurance. Multiple md’s frustrated with their approval and lack of sending wrong refills, wrong Meds entirely, and do nothing to help or even apologize.

Very slow and very rude. Amanda was very sarcastic and refused when asked about instructions. Will not go there again.

Walgreen’s holds a special place in my heart because they were my first employer but I’m not a fan of this location, mostly due to their pharmacy techs. I used to come to this one alot since it’s near my work but finally had my prescription transferred somewhere else. Every time I’ve gone there on my lunch break, it’s the same dark haired chick working the pharmacy and I had to ask a question about one of my prescriptions and she seemed annoyed by that. Then another time I had a coupon and she got frustrated because I guess she didn’t know how to enter it in. Meh.

OK, the secret is out. I love Walgreen’s. No I mean it. I looooove Walgreens! I think it is a genetic thing.
Say you need a new nail polish? Got it. Excedrin for that long annoying day at work? Check. New Passport Photo. Yep. Some Cadbury Eggs, because well they are there they are ooey gooey yumminess? Oh yeah.
It is a one stop shop when you can’t face walking into a Walmart and don’t want to schlep to a King Soopers. This one Dry Creek/​Yosemite is my lunch time Walgreen’s and one of my faves. Lots of parking, easy to get in and out of and they have a large holiday/​seasonal section in the middle (some stores only have part of an aisle — not this one).
Quick, convenient and plenty to browse when you are killing time at lunch :)
