We have had nothing but great things to say about Van Genderen. The customer service is great from the office staff to the techs. Kevin is friendly, thorough and really knows his stuff. Our HVAC system was a disaster and he said he wouldn’t give up until it was perfect. And it is, finally! No more space heaters in the bedrooms or 85 degree days in our son’s room. We will never call anyone else for our HVAC needs.

After $ 200, the A/​C was the same as when he started. Asked him to check the coil to see if it was in need of cleaning, but he didn’t know (or didn’t want to) how to get his camera in there. I told him how, but he looked so confused, I was done and said I would give it a couple hours to see if what he did would work. Gave it an hour and half, and was still no difference. Said I had the wrong size filter (I did), but when I went to see which one he put in, he put the wrong size in too. They did give me half my money back, and were very nice though.

Incredible followup after new attic installation 11 months ago. Unit was tripping circuit breaker. Service call on Sunday by phone and in person next morning first thing. Trouble shooting seemed done but problem recurred with next time used. Within 2 hours of day of call electrical contractor used by VG appeared and uncovered and fixed our trouble. No charges per agreed warranty. Where else can we get such wonderful work and service and professionalism these days?

Awesome customer service. Our heat went out and I was searching for all the space heaters we own. Kevin came out THAT NIGHT and was concerned we would get too cold. Fantastic experience with this business. Had two other very reputable heating businesses try to sell me a new furnace. But Van Genderen said a new furnace wouldn’t fix my problem as it was a ductwork issue. They were so forthright with their assessment that I hired them and they ended up saving me literally thousands of dollars. I will probably need to replace my furnace in the next 3 to 5 years and I will without doubt end up using them because of their honest and timely work. It’s so refreshing to work with a contractor who is not out to squeeze every penny that he or she can from you!

I have been walking by Van Genderen for years. It is right across the street from Duffy Roll Café and Hansons.
Today, my furnace would not come on.
I called Van Genderen and within 2 hours, Kevin was at my house. He fixed the problem, checked out the the furnace and gave me advice about the future.
Excellent service at a very reasonable price.
