Rush Automotive and Towing

If I could give a half of a star I would. Called a 24 hour tow service and left two messages with no response. 3 hours later I received a call back FINALLY! Was able to find another company that was there for the emergency tow at 7 am in the morning right away. Horrible customer service and when you are a 24 hour service, you should be able to at least call someone and let them know you aren’t available. The gentleman who called back after 3 hours was completely clueless and didn’t seem to care they lost money. I would’ve actually paid Rush’s garage to make the repairs as well as the tow, so obviously they lost out on money. Unless you like hanging out on the side of the road all day I would highly recommend another company. This isn’t a disgruntled ex-​employee either, just a hard working guy who expects a business to act like one.

Well done Rush Automotive and Towing! Courteous, on time, friendly and professional. Had called 3 of the towing companies on the Unilocal list and 2 of them didn’t even return our call. Granted, it is a record cold day, holiday, etc. Another towing company was scheduled and they canceled when their truck broke down. Tried Rush and they answered, scheduled and showed up on New Year’s Eve. Got the car on the truck and delivered to the service shop. Price was competitive — I will use them again if I ever need a tow!

I had a need for a jumpstart due to the fact that my children had left a power door and some lights on in my vehicle overnight. The roadside assistance company I have used in the past had gone out of business and I really needed to get to work. I was searching the internet and kept finding different phone numbers associated with the same business and they were very suspicious and told me they were booked. The End. Finally I happened upon Rush Automtoive and Towing and they were very professional. Explained the cost and I was happy that there was not an additional mileage charge for them to come to my location (as was the case with others). I did have to wait a bit but to be fair it was an extremely frigid morning and they were very busy which I understood. The driver was very courteous — tested the battery to ensure it was not a problem with my alternator — and had me on my way. I have programmed their number into my phone so I can call Rush if this should happen again.

We had a need for towing service today. Called a few places and they either didn’t answer or quoted me multiple hours for service. I called rush towing and they quoted me 1 hour and they were right on time. Jordan was efficient and friendly. The total was spot to the estimate. I hope to never need a tow again but if I do I will be calling rush towing.

When you get five-​star service is when you want to Unilocal for joy. So Bravo to Rush for earning it.
it was the worst of those sub zero Denver days last week (all time record low of –13) and after a full day of driving a company car in nightmare conditions, go figure my own car dies.
My insurance agent arranged for a tow; Laurie from Rush called immediately. Normally when someone tells you it could take 90 minutes to come from eight miles away, it’s not a good thing. But given the road conditions and number of wrecks I’d already seen that day I didn’t really care who came or how long. I was more concerned about IF. I hoped their truck didn’t slide off the road or get hit.
Laurie called with updates a couple of times which was reassuring. The driver took less than an hour. I noticed immediately that the truck was clean inside and the equipment for towing, was new-​ish. The credit card machine processed quickly and printed a receipt on the spot that the insurance company asked for. The driver had GPS on his tablet so I didn’t have to give directions and could concentrate on freezing to death. The driver’d been out rescuing people all day but he could as easily been out sailing. He was friendly with an even-​keeled nature and made what would have been a surrealistic nightmare into a minor inconvenience. Well, not really. It sucks that my car is dead. But the tow part was easy!

I took my car for an oil change and not only did Rush change my oil and filter, they did a full inspection and did find that I needed my front ball joint replaced. They were very professional, friendly, and reasonably priced. They even offered me coffee or bottled water which I thought was nice. I’ll definitely be making Rush my automotive repair shop!

I love this place.
I hate being put through the grind at the dealership.
My car needed some work done… Jim (the owner) and Scott one of his mechanics went out of their way to find out what exactly was wrong, with some strange circumstances.
Jim gave me honest advice on what to REALLY fix and what could wait… his advice is was solid and I felt like someone elsewhere could have told me I HAD to get this work done and taken advantage of me.
As a woman I also feel like I am talked down to at mechanic shops because I would have no idea what is going on with my car… Scott took the time to explain what exactly was going on with me and was very kind and patient. I will be back for sure.
I found a gem of a place in Rush, and although I don’t want my car to breakdown, there is a peace of mind that it will be well taken care of if it does.

This place is awful! I needed a fuel pump replaced and he (Jim, the owner) quoted me $ 800. When I called somewhere else and got a better quote Jim became extremely difficult — he charged me $ 88 for a 1.5 mile tow and $ 113 for the diagnosis. On top of all that he held my car hostage and wouldn’t release it to be towed to the new shop. And he was completely rude to the tow truck driver. The customer service was terrible and they clearly have no problem gouging customers.
