After waiting a month for delivery because we live in the foothills, which they only deliver to once a month, the delivery team refused to deliver our couches. They said it was a «no fit» because they refused to take the couches around to the back where we have double french doors. I even told them if they back up the truck to the end of our driveway, it wouldn’t be that far to carry, since the driveway wraps around the house. They refused and offered no solution. Didn’t even offer to take it off the truck and leave it on the driveway for us to carry in. I think because it was a sleeper sofa, they did not want to carry it. Very disappointed since we’ve been sitting on the floor for over a month now. I called customer service that same day, and the gentleman basically made excuses about not knowing for sure how wide my french doors were. Really dude? They are twice the width of a normal door. He said someone from the warehouse would call me by Monday to reschedule. It’s Monday, and no one called. So, I called them again. This time I got a very helpful lady that is following up to see if the couches are still at the warehouse or if they were shipped back to CA!!! Ugh. Then she isn’t sure that I won’t have to wait another month for delivery. I have been a long time customer of Macy’s furniture. But if I have to wait another month, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I’ll start in the meat of the story… one, just one, of the items we ordered was back ordered, so they made us wait 2MONTHS before they would deliver any of the furniture. If we had been told upfront it was going to be TWO months we NEVEREVER would have kept our order. I just found out that part of the order was damaged and it will be another two months for delivery… that’s 4 months, 120 days, ¼ year, 2880 hours! This is my first Unilocal review i had wished they allowed negative stars.

I bought a couch at Southglenn Macys and was promised a delivery date that was pushed back months and months. When we threatened to cancel our order, they offered money off the total and promised us a new date. That new date came and went and we again called to cancel our order and they offered to take more money off. We got the couch and a month later, the bill came. None of the money had been taken off. It is slowly getting resolved, but it is still not at the agreed upon price. Each time I call, I get sent through phone chains, messages etc and have to explain my scenario to a different person that just refers me to someone else. FRUSTRATING

Excellent customer service — best delivery team I have ever encountered(they offered to vaccum after bringing my new couch! and wore booties on their shoes to protect my floor!) Not only that, but quality furniture that we expect to have for decades. It’s a little on the pricey side, but if you are tired of replacing your furniture every 10 years and want something that will last, this is an excellent place to look. Watch their ads for specials, if you find something you like, it will inevitably end up on sale.
