I have had a totally different experience than the other reviewer regarding Centennial Property Maintenance. Daniel has proven time and again that he and his staff do high quality work at a fair price. He is also honest and straightforward. He has a thorough understanding of how to do projects and how to do them right.
I use CPM for property maintenance like mowing, fertilizing, and yard cleanup. Additionally, they built some concrete stairs on the side of my house that were exactly what I wanted. They recently replaced my roof, and because Daniel suggested using a different but equally high quality shingle that I had chosen, he saved me $ 2600.
I have complete trust in these guys, plus they are pleasant and polite. I will continue to use their services.

I had Centennial Property Maintenance perform a repair about 1 year ago. I was instructed by my settlement company to receive a ‘worst case scenario’ bid from them for the repair. I was promised on multiple occasions by Centennial Property Maintenance that I would never be charged for any labor/​tasks that weren’t ultimately performed. The repair work went very smoothly and was completed in far less time than was included in Centennial Property Maintenance’s ‘worst case scenario’ bid.
After the project was complete, Daniel Stecklein (owner of Centennial Property Maintenance) insisted that I pay the ‘worst case scenario’ bid which was $ 1000 over the cost to perform the actual work. Again, this initial bid included tasks that weren’t even done and labor hours that weren’t expended on the job. I tried to reason with Mr. Stecklein but he refused to listen and wouldn’t accept/​return my calls or e-​mails. I made multiple efforts to resolve this matter without success. After ignoring my requests to discuss settlement of this matter, Centennial Property Maintenance sent my account to a collections agency. After consulting an attorney, this matter was finally settled to my benefit.
Although I was relatively happy with the actual work that was performed by Centennial Property Maintenance I could never recommend them. In my opinion, the owner of the company does not communicate well with his customers or even his employees. If you do utilize Centennial Property Maintenance be sure everything agreed to is detailed and in writing. Do not take them at their word.

My husband and I found this company through an Internet search 5 years ago after we bought our first home and needed some landscaping direction. Daniel, the owner, was warm, knowledgeable, and engaging. We were happy to have found him.
As it turns out, this is family run-​business which sounds great right? Unfortunately, Daniel’s wife runs the office and is not only inept in the billing department (we were billed twice in 6 months for services paid), but when we brought attention to each discrepancy, she proceeded to act unimaginably unprofessional, actually ranting, yelling, and hanging up on my husband. Luckily, I kept each receipt and dated proof of payment. Daniel came to our home in order to figure out the problem and saw for himself proof that we had paid our bills. In the end, his wife/​receptionist/​accountant accused us of trying to get free services after she sent us the SAME bill again and we once again refused to pay for the service that we had already paid for.
This experience was unduly stressful and time-​consuming. We are still searching for a reliable (and non-​confrontational) landscaping service.
