Toni Michael’s Salon

I’m so surprised by the negative reviews others have posted before me! I have been getting my hair cut by Michael for the last 6 years, long before he owned his own shop. I love what he has done with my hair, that I have pretty much followed him everywhere! I’ve never had anyone else in the shop cut my hair so I can’t speak about anyone except for him. He’s so nice and full of energy; he always makes it a great experience. If I decide to change my hair, we talk about it before we do something drastic. He’s not scissor happy either, I’m never worried he will cut too much off. Besides great hair cuts, he did an excellent job at styling my hair for my wedding. We ended up making a giant bow out of my hair and I received so many compliments! My mother gets her hair colored only by Michael and he does a great job on that as well. My entire hair cut cost $ 30 and I don’t think that’s unreasonable. If you’re still unsure about coming here, schedule an appointment with Michael and see for yourself how great this place is.

I was there today to get my hair done. I received 10 foils, root touch up and a trim on shoulder length hair I was shocked at the price I was charged $ 165!!! I have never paid more than $ 120 to get the exact same thing done elsewhere. I doubt I’ll be going back anytime soon because my gray comes through every 5 – 6 weeks and I can’t afford those prices.

After having a great haircut by Angelo, my husband scheduled a second appointment for a Sunday. On Saturday afternoon he received a call that they would be closed on Sunday so he rescheduled for the following Friday at 5:30. He left work early that day and was at the salon by 5:20. Unfortunately the door was locked and the lights shut off as he spotted a couple of employees leaving out the back. Completely unprofessional. We won’t be going back.

For the past two years, I have struggled to find a place to cut my hair that left me satisfied. I wandered into Toni Michael’s expecting a mediocre style and similar service, but I NEEDED to get my hair cut!
I walked in and was greeted warmly by the receptionist. She took my info and entered me into the system before offering me a cup of water. I was quickly approached by Gretchen, who would be my stylist. She was phenomenal! Great conversationalist with an expert touch. My hair looks great, feels great, and I’m excited for my next time in.
The cut was a little pricey at $ 25, but the experience was totally worth it. I’d recommend it to anybody.
