In this small town with few choices, this is by far our favorite. Food is excellent and staff is great! During good weather, the patio is relaxing next to Surface Creek, mature trees and atmosphere! We will miss this café!

This was a great little stop for lunch. We were seated and served fast. Wonderful bloody mary’s! I got a salad with apples, walnuts and cheese. It was perfect!

I have only ever been here one time. Food was mediocre and poorly prepared. Especially compared to the food served at adjacent tables. Apparently if you are a local car buff you get served, and well, but if you come in on a motorcycle, expect ridiculous wait times and poorly prepared foods. All we ordered was a wrap and a burger with fries. Wrap wasn’t steamed so it cracked at every fold! Fries came late and underdone! Stay away!

Under new ownership again(see below). Had breakfast yesterday morning and just can’t give it a great thumbs up review. Had what amounted to a Denver omelette with home fries. Omelette was good enough, but the portion of fried potatoes was frightfully small for the price charged. Spuds are cheap, please put more than a few on the plate! Also, the toast came out a few minutes before the entrée and was cold by the time the plate arrived; the meal should be served in it’s entirety and at the same time, please. Basic restaurant rules. This restaurant has changed hands three times in the past three years and prices have risen with each new owner. Most breakfasts’ there are now in the $ 8 – 10 area according to the menu. Too many«add-on» charges to calculate with basic egg, pancake, and omelette orders. So, in summary, there are better values in Cedaredge(for breakfast anyway). There are no senior citizen pricings for breakfast(there were previously) and that may hurt their business. I won’t return as I have better options.

The food here was very good. However, the service was not, it was very slow and even though the server brought us the bill we had to hunt her down in order to pay.

We eat here often. The portions are good and the prices are reasonable. The staff is always pleasant and attentive, without being bothersome.

We stopped by on our way through town. Everyone was very friendly, and all the sandwiches and burgers we tried were very good. Especially enjoyed the patty melt, Reuben, and bacon cheeseburger. Also had a really tasty chocolate shake and lemon strata pie. Definitely a great place for lunch, with a beautiful view of the creek!

Four of us dined at this fantastic little restaurant on the side of a creek, just below Grand Mesa on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in August. The 73 degree day was perfect to sit outside on the long wood deck and enjoy the sound of the small creek that is just a few feet away. We ordered four different meals; a bacon burger, a club sandwich, chicken strips, and an Indian taco salad, covered with a wonderful homemade green chili. This was substituted for the homemade red chili that was on the menu. All the food was great & plentiful, including large portions of crispy golden fries on half the orders & seasoned curly fries on the others. Our waitress came by plenty often to keep drinks full, but not so much to be a nuisance. The only regret I have is that Cedaredge is so far from our Metro Denver home. If we lived close, we would frequent this great restaurant often.
