Great food, but I probably won’t go back because the service was«ehh» at best. I had the Broccoli Normandy soup(a fancy way of saying broccoli cheese) which was delicious. My savory crêpe was rubbery and soggy in consistency. The dessert crêpe(coffee ice cream) was delicious. I could have lived with the rubber crêpe had the waitress we had not made us feel like a huge inconvenience. We were there on a weekday for a late lunch and her inattentive nature was very obvious. It took forever to get our bills, place our order, etc. Cedarburg has enough options for dining that I see no need to come back to a place where the staff isn’t helpful.

One of my favorite places in Cedarburg! Quaint and historic atmosphere! Staff is friendly. Food homemade and delicious! My favorite is the Colonial salad with house made terragon dressing! Can’t beat the crepes either. Soups yummy too!

I use to love going here, but this last visit made me never want to go back. The broccoli soup is still wonderful, but the service has gone downhill. The young people they have working there have no clue about customer service. The one we had was very short with us, no smiles and was just unpleasant to deal with. We probably won’t be back.

Love this place and I don’t even like crepes! But their cream of broccoli soup is yummy and their veggie sandwich and salads are excellent and very fresh.

I worked here when I was in high school and very little has changed since then. The Cream of Broccoli Soup was always my favorite and still tastes exactly the same. Crepes very good. I enjoy eating here for a light lunch that hits the spot.

I am a bit embarrassed, but we live about 5 minutes walking from downtown and have for years. Only this past weekend did we try Cream and Crêpe Café. We have certainly wanted to try it in the past, but the hours are very unusual. Broccoli Cheese Soup = Heaven. It was amazing as others have pointed out below. Crepes were very good as well and the service was great. No issues and we will be back.

Enjoyed the overall… Soup was good, crepes were ok. Saw prestacked crepes in kitchen, kinda ruined it for me. But I’d go back!

As quaint and lovely as Cedarburg is, Cream and Crêpe adds to the charm of downtown Cedarburg. The café is located in the old Cedarburg settlement building along with some local shops. It’s somewhat of a hidden gem, if you aren’t familiar with downtown Cedarburg. The staff is very nice and attentive. Both the breakfast crepes and dessert crepes are delicious. Also, food is very reasonably priced. It’s such a charming little restaurant, furnished with antique kitchen tables and a lovely view of the rolling river. I will definitely be back!

I have been here in the past and it’s average at best. I can’t tell you how the food was on the day of this review, because we were never served. My wife and I stopped in for lunch on a week day afternoon. When we walked in we were seated immediately and there were only three other tables with customers. I noticed about for servers on duty. We sat for fifteen minutes with no service, not even glasses of water. After a few more minutes we decided to leave. As we walked out the hostess smiled at us and thanked us for stopping in. ??? There are lots of good restaurants in Cedarburg, this is not one of them.

pros: cute historic site with nice views at the river running by below cons: Overall disappointing since nothing seemed to have been cooked or prepared freshly — not even the desert crepes. We asked our waitress since we never ate a cold crêpe… the crepes are made in the morning and served cold from a stack later. We ordered turkey dumpling soup and the meat was actually cut turkey sandwich meat in an overcooked soup.

Adorable, adorable, adorable! This place is quintessential downtown Cedarburg, full of charm and decorated like a cozy country kitchen. We we’re seated near the window overlooking a frosty little creek which just added to the warmth of the place. I ordered the country crossroads crêpe with chicken, swiss cheese and ham, topped with a swiss almond cheese sauce and my friend ordered the tree of life crêpe filled with broccoli and asparagus with more cheese sauce on top. Both were super yummy and priced well at $ 5.25 each for a single crêpe(you can also order a double crêpe). The almond swiss cheese sauce was very mild which was great since that can overpower sometimes. Our service was excellent and our water glasses we’re always full. I wish I had some room at the end to try some of their delicious looking dessert crepes! As a bonus, this restaurant is in the old mill building so you can go straight from dining to shopping without having to venture too far. Two thumbs up!

I was seriously not going to write a review for here, but as I was sitting and writing some reviews for great places I went this week, our minds wandered back to our time in Cedarburg not long ago. We were planning on going to just a Farmer’s Market, but it was lightly attended due to a fair, so we wandered Cedarburg for the morning. After a wonderful tour at the winery, we decided to try the Cream and Crêpe as it had always piqued our interest. Our first impression was a cheap diner, but it was somewhat decored original as the tables and chairs were mismatched and the silverware was actual silver, but also mismatched. I started with a warm apple cider, but was disappointed as it was nothing more than a warmed pre-produced product with little flavor. I would have expected something homemade or unique. My girlfriend and I ordered different crepes. I got the ham and swiss option(with a swiss almond cheese sauce) and my girlfriend got the beef option. What was delivered to us not only looked horrible, but smelled a bit off. The ingredients were definitely not fresh, the crepes were torn and a bit overdone, the beef was so overcooked that it surpassed soft and was quite hard to chew and tasted bland. The almond cheese sauce had no real flavor and the ham was a pre-packaged slice that was again overcooked and tasted horrible. We did not finish either crêpe, did not see our waitress beyond the order and then delivery, had to track her down so we could leave, and left quickly, paying at the front to someone who had no clue about our bill until the waitress arrived at the register and said she had not completed it yet. I knew the prices from the menu, so I tossed over the cash and said thanks, we are good. It was inexpensive, but still not worth even half of what they charged. Fresh ingredients and better presentation would make it worth my while, but I will never return as in my opinion, there is no care in the menu, preparation or service. Sorry that we even went as it put a negative end to a wonderful day.

I’ve never been to Cedarburg before — my bro– and sis-in-law were married there before I married my husband, and that’s literally the only point of reference I have for it. So we decided to check out the Wine and Harvest Festival there this weekend — which was so much bigger than we both expected! While we were enjoying walking around, we actually wanted to have a sit-down lunch and not eat the [incredibly fattening/fried] food at the festival. After wandering into two places we definitely didn’t want to check out(don’t ask), we ended up at Cream & Crêpe Café. I think it’s best summed up by a list of pros and cons: Pros: — actual SILVER silverware! — hot apple cider(delicious!) — very cute inside Cons: — CANNED mushrooms and FROZEN broccoli(seriously? gross.) — mushy crepes — tasteless swiss almond sauce - Honestly, I was so turned off by the fact that their produce was so obviously not fresh that I could barely stomach the crêpe. As the husb said, we are definitely spoiled living on the East Side, but come on – Really, $ 10.50 for two crepes filled with formerly canned/frozen vegetables? Never again!

I was pretty excited to try this place out — anything with the word«crêpe» attached is worth trying in my book. The place is very cute, tucked back in the Cedar Creek Settlement. The staff was friendly and our server was nice and attentive. Their menu has plenty to choose from with entrée crepes, dessert crepes, sandwiches, salads and other desserts. I was excited for our meals to come. I ordered the broccoli normandy soup. The soup was OK… it didn’t taste homemade, more like it came from a powder or pre-mix. The French bread that came with was tasty though. I ordered a crêpe that had spinach, bacon, mushroom and onion. It was also OK… too much spinach and the crêpe part of it wasn’t fresh as if it had just been freshly made. I also got a dessert crêpe that had vanilla custard, chocolate/peanut butter sauce, and sprinkled peanut butter chips. This was the best of the 3 items but the crêpe part of it also wasn’t fresh. It was nice but it was not what I expected — I was definitely hoping for more. The prices are right and I’m sure we’ll be back… just with lower expectations.

My friend and I went here today for a brunch. It was okay. I had the shrimp chowder, one tree crêpe, and we shared the mint chocolate chip crêpe for dessert. Our server was great. Shrimp chowder seemed like it was a powder base or something. It was okay. my friend had the vegetable soup and said it was good. My crêpe had asparagus, broccoli, and swiss almond sauce. It was okay, but for $ 5.00 I expected more. The mint chocolate chip crêpe was really just mint chocolate chip ice cream in a crêpe with whip cream. I think I would give this place a C+.

CCC is conveniently located inside the Cedar Creek Settlement and a good place to stop for a bite if you’ve been doing some shopping. Food: B I too love the cream of broccoli soup– it’s creamy and delicious. The crepes are in no way authentic but they are tasty and many are vegetarian. Portions are sized for a lighter lunch or snack. You probably won’t leave here with a food baby. Atmosphere: B CCC’s atmosphere is best described as «twee», with mismatched chairs and silverware and quilts on the walls. Your mom or grandma will love it. Prices: A Very reasonable. Two drinks, a crêpe, a sandwich and two orders of soup was $ 21.38. NICE. Service: B I believe CCC, much like Menudo, boots it’s servers when they graduate from high school. Ours was pleasant and in top of refills. Overall: B You won’t get real French crepes with Nutella or beurre sucre here(pity) but it’s a nice stop for a light lunch.

Yum Yum Yum. Located inside the Cedar Creek Settlement building(which houses the winery), Cream and Crêpe is a old fashioned restaurant. I took my Mom for a birthday lunch at Cream and Crêpe. It was great! We were there on a weekday about noon and there were maybe 6 or 7 other tables of patrons. I had the crêpe special(Italian style) for $ 5 and my Mom had the same; in addition, she had the broccoli soup. We both enjoyed our meals, which were further complimented by my hot cider and her hot tea! The waitstaff was extremely friendly, professional, and efficient. I will be back!
