Country Cattery Boarding Resort For Cats

I’ve used this facility many times in the past eight years, first for my elderly old lady cat and more recently for my adolescent calico. The facility was built for cats. Each cat has an indoor cage, about 4′ tall by 18′ deep and maybe 2′ wide (eyeballing and memory here; I’ve never measured.) The indoor cage has several shelves and each cat has food, water, a litter tray, and a comfy bed. Each cage has a cat door so they can go outdoors to their own private outdoor cage, about 8′ tall and 4′ deep with chain-​link walls. Some of the outdoor runs have tree trunks for climbing. I provide my own food and toys. Carol lives for cats and while my young calico does’t enjoy being caged, it’s roomy and safe for her and she gets to be outside, which she can’t do at home. The charges are reasonable (right now $ 15/​night or $ 17 for a tree-​trunk cage.) If your cat needs meds, there’s an extra charge of $ 1/​day for that. I don’t like to cage my girl, but this is by far the best place I’ve found when I have to go out of town.

This is a wonderful choice for a cat that doesn’t like to be alone. Great indoor/​outdoor protected areas with several levels. Nice woman who takes care of them.

Carol has been watching my kitty for 10+ years, while we’re out of town. The ‘luxury kitty condos’ include three-​story indoor accommodations, plus access to a private, fenced-​in, floor-​to-​ceiling outdoor area. My indoor-​only cat loves staying here — he immediately heads to his private outdoor area! I highly recommend Country Cattery.
