Beautiful building and grounds. However, the city does not know how to run this venue, the city staff is rude and overbearing. They shut the place down before the time noted in the contract. Charged hidden fees and penalties. Find another venue! This one is not worth the headache!

What does it say that the hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. but they had to unlock doors when we showed up at noon? Despite being somewhat interesting, it’s definitely not well known or liked by the locals. Sometimes I feel misled by visitors guides.

I really don’t appreciate getting kicked out of Usher’s Ferry because they were hosting a school field trip. If they are not going to allow visitors during their school tours, they should have a sign posted at the entrance.
