Great old fashion Hometown hardware store. I have shopped here for years and am so appreciative they stay around. The checkout is located the way it is due to that on store layout. This way they don’t have to guard the door for shoplifters. Anyone leaving the store would walk by the cashier facing them. What a clever idea. Love the personal service. They have several people employed that know what they are doing and can advise you professionally unlike the big box stores. It is a locally owned business and supports the community.

Some of the best service I’ve had anywhere! and I’ve been to a lot of hardware stores. The store is a little out dated but they give great service. They also have a tool rental place there.

True Value is my favorite hardware chain even though there isn’t as many around anymore. You can save a lot of dough by shopping their advertised specials, especially the value of the month. I don’t particularly like the layout of this store. The checkouts are oddly placed, closed off from the rest of the store so you have to be walking out the door to see the checkers. Not good for customer service. Otherwise the help is very friendly and knowledgeable — just what you expect from a neighborhood hardware store.
