Small place, sits by itself downtown, that was what made us stop. It seemed like it would be an interesting place. Nothing charming inside, not sure what the theme was supposed to be, looked like they weren’t finished working on it. Didn’t order any food, nothing made us want to hang out that long.

Even in a dive bar you need good service to back up the lack of aesthetics. This place failed even that bare minimum standard. As a bar they don’t have much going — a few common beers on tap. Some better bottles but you can’t really tell what they are because theyre just stuffed in a very full cold case. Booze selection is not full — some rail bottles and basic mixers. Service was… distant, at best. It wasn’t very busy on my last visit but my bartender barely said a word to me the entire time I was there and made it clear she would rather have been anywhere else. They apparently have a food menu but given the lackluster attitude I would hesitate to order… hard to say what kind of attention is given to the food. And, really, tuna salad? I stopped by on a monday night and they were closed… posted hours are 10 to 2am 7 days a week. I don’t think so, Tim.

Horrible service the night I was in there. I had 3 drinks and they charged me for 8. They had a bartender shift change when I was there and they didn’t get it right and refused to give my card back unless they charged 8 drinks to it. Will not go back.

This place had good burgers. I heard the pizza was good too. Both are gone. Now the menu consists of pulled pork, sloppy Joe, tuna salad or chicken salad. For sides you have your choice of cole slaw, cottage cheese or chips. That’s the entire menu. I won’t be back.

The food here didn’t surprise me but then again I didn’t expect it too. I think that the prices are a little high and may need some adjusting. Service was fairly slow for the amount of people there. And my sandwich and french fries were rather soggy and could have been cooked a little longer. They do have a nice bar area and good beer on tap so the wait was not that bad but I don’t think I will be returning for the food I will stick to Stella’s being a drinking spot.

I was a little disappointed in my visit. I ordered a meatball sandwich which was OK, but I probably could have made it better at home. I would have gone with 3 stars but the price is what gets it 2 for me. The sandwich came with a small side of cole slaw and adding a Coke, my total came to $ 11.50! I really felt like this was at least $ 2 too much for what I got.
