Really nice place. Great bands, seen Lipstick Slick Sat. 2÷6÷2016 they sounded great lots of room to move around. You could even dance! The Food wasn’t like bar food, it was better. The 2 women behind the bar was great. Funny, professional and very polite. Lots of parking, don’t let the small front fool you, tons of room and old fashioned Czech charm

I used to go here all the time a few months ago. Since then, they have an entire new staff (who are great), two new pool tables, multiple new games and a jukebox. They are working on getting more customers with karaōke on Thursdays and Fridays, which is also great. The one young bartender is so nice, it may be her first time bartending, but she’ll ask to make sure that’s what you want. All around, getting back on their feet and a lovely relaxing place to go throughout the week, and fun on the weekends!

Went there after work to have a drink and knew that a storm was rolling in. Was able to have two drinks on the patio, and our waitress/​bar manager was awesome!!! When the storm finally hit we decided to go inside… That’s where they got deducted a star. The missing star goes to our waitress/​bar manager! She rocked! I had a guy ask if I wanted to buy him a drink. I following up with, «are you fuc@king kidding, no». Mind you, he had brand new shoes on. He then went on to ask my gf if she would. (At this point there was only 5 of us in the place) After she declined, our waitress/​bar manager asked if he had done this to us (obviously not the first time). We said that he had, and she quickly removed him from the premises. I’ll go back because that’s the kind of leadership and attention to the customer that every bar/​grill/​restaurant/​dive, should have!

Had a great time here earlier in the week! Was in town visiting family and brought some relatives from Rasdorf, Germany here. The loved the décor! We sat inside for a while and then moved to the back patio area. I had the Millstream Brewing Hefeweissen, which was great. Sampled some of the appetizers which were yummy too (favorite was the pretzel bites…). Excellent service from the staff (thanks Jessica!) who were able to easily accommodate our large group.

Nice selection of beer on draft — Franzikaner Weissbier… don’t often see that. A few other doozies (and of course your standard swill). If you’re into cheap beer, $ 2.50 tall boys at happy hour — and yes, they have Schlitz in a tall boy… you know you wanted to ask. Outdoor seating, air hockey, pool — pretty nice spot. Not a huge fan of the music when I’ve been in, but it’s CR, there is no spot for good music… the memo hasn’t got out that it exists yet. I will stop back in in the future — so you have that to look forward to!

This used to be a decent place. A little sketchy lately. The worst thing is the crowds vary greatly from night to night so you never know what type of crowd will be there. Techno one night… hip hop the next… cover bands the next night. Not a great place to just drop in but there are 5 other bars within walking distance if the vibe doesn’t fit.

its a different crowd, always a good time though usually have a DJ our band on the weekend. understaffed but the staff is friendly. Always seem to meet new and interesting people!

This is a Brand new addition to the Bars in Czech town it’s the biggest bar out of the four bars right there it’s very open and there is a pool table and a nice large patio out back. It’s not the biggest place but for this area it’s a big bar very clean and a change from all the other bar not only in Czech town but in Cedar Rapids! I don’t know that a lot of people know about this place yet but I think if they run some specials or word gets out about this place it will be one of the funner bars to hang at!
