Country Inn And Suites by Carlson

Hotel is in an okay area off of hwy 380. It’s wrapped up amongst some businesses not too far away from eating establishments. Was surprised by the size of the room. Front desk lady was friendly and nice. Said I was the guest of the day and I received a cinch bag with some goodies in it. Looks like they have a happy hour and shuttle service. I would stay again. All is good except my ceiling in the kitchen is water stained as it looks like there is a leak in the room above.

This hotel was on the list of hotels that I could go to through my company. I picked them because people rated it very high and the rates weren’t bad at all.
I checked in and asked if I could extend my stay for a couple days, and they said no because they were all booked up, sad. But check in was fast and the employee was nice and cheerful.
I go up to my room and its a freaking suite. It looked super nice and had its own small kitchen area with a sink, microwave and refrigerator. Very cool. The bed was a King and the bathroom was nice as well. My room actually had a nice couch that I laid down on while watching Monday Night Football. The TV was nice, but the channels aren’t in HD, which isn’t a huge deal.
I picked up some dinner on the way to my hotel and was going to eat it, then I saw that they didn’t give me any utensils. So I walked downstairs to the breakfast/​dining area to grab utensils and they had a free dinner buffet for guests. It wasn’t much, but it was pulled pork, potato skins, and chili. I grabbed me a bowl of chili. When I was walking out I saw that they had a Bud Light tap, also free for guests. I didn’t partake, but I thought that was really cool.
All in all, I really like this hotel. The location is great, (right off the interstate), the rooms are nice and clean, the amenities are great, and the staff was great. Everything was great. Nothing has been bad about this place yet. I have one more night and I will update my review if I see anything bad.
