Visited the can shed with two medium trash bags filled with cans and two plastic bags filled with bottles (minimum of 35 bottles total). The can shed gave us $ 2.65 as a return. At 5 cents a can/​bottle that’s a ridiculous return for what we brought in. Sure it’s fast and it’s certainly not all about the refund but you’ll get more back using the self service machines at Walmart or HyVee. Won’t be going back anytime soon.

This was a very easy way to return our bottles and cans. It definitely beats standing at one of those «feed-​em» machines and putting the bottles in one and a time. These guys have a very efficient system and everyone there was friendly. It was worth the drive from Marion to get everything taken care of quick and easy.

The can shed is a recycling center for cans, plastic, and glass bottles! They count out your returns for you there fast and easy! They sell boxes with lids so you can put your bag in and lift the box off when its full, they give you $ 12 for a full bag and that’s just a drop off. Great way to recycle at work or at home.
