Brought my friends there tonight to watch the finals. What a great place. Beer was excellent. Atmosphere perfect. Bartender Brooke was the perfect host. She had a busy bar to herself and still had time to talk to us and make us feel welcome. We found our new hang out. If you haven’t been there yet, you are missing out.

Tucked away into the corner of a strip center sits this lovely little brewery. The indoor bar space has plenty of seating and even some comfy couches. There is also a fairly large patio as well. We got a sampler tray and everything was decent. There were no off flavors and nothing was infected — which is always nice for a brewery that is fairly new. I really liked the Long Gone Blonde, which has vanilla and orange notes. I normally wouldn’t think those spices would go well with a blonde but it actually works here and is well balanced with a tinge of sweetness from the adjuncts. My boyfriend really liked the Kolsch. Clean and crisp! Staff was lovely and the price is right. They also have crowlers so if you’re looking for some beer to go, it’s a great option. Great place if you’re looking to try some new brews and need space for a large group.

Love this place. Great beer, fun, laid back atmosphere and family-friendly, which is hard to do for an establishment based around adult beverages. It’s becoming a favorite local hangout. We like Redhorn too, but will take Whitestone over the competition any day of the week.

Good atmosphere. Great beer. New place on 1431 with friendly service and a comfortable décor. Good selection of pub games. Free popcorn. Nicely placed faux fireplace. BYO area food. Large patio(with a view of the rail yard for the sentimental).

Yes, I am a beer gal. I am especially a craft beer gal. And, I am most definitely a local craft beer gal!!! So, when I heard that Whitestone was opening, I had to get me derrière there stat! Another addition to the ATX craft beer scene is always welcomed. First visit was 6 days from official grand opening opening(Jan 3rd I think?), so the beer selection was limited, but some decent craft beers(Siesta Saison was good). The place was certainly sparkling new(the pungent smell of the wood stain was making me dizzy), very spacious, lots of seating indoors and out, several TVs, friendly enough staff, a really cool machine where you can have them can a «crowler» of choice for you(see pic; really neat) and they sell growlers, they employ a flat screen to display all of their beers and the information about them(e.g., ABV). Second visit, stain odor had diminished, and Whitestone now offers food from surrounding restaurants and has food trucks on-site from time to time so that’s pretty cool(didn’t eat, so can’t comment on the quality). They also have live music and do «geeks who drink» trivia, so I must go back for that! I’m so glad I gave Whitestone a second visit before writing a review. Otherwise it would have simply read«good local craft beer, but otherwise a huge Cedar Park strip mall snooze fest… all the way down to the name — the STREET it is located on.» When in the CP area, not a bad choice. Just hits the bottom of the 4 stars mark for me… IMHO of course. Cheers!

3 stars for concept with the food trucks and the family/dog friendly nature of this place. My family loved playing Scattegories together by the fire. The food trucks are hit or miss of course and on our night it was a «miss». Cajun food truck was horrible. Pizza truck showed up later and might have been a better choice. Beer was not good. Kolsch was not good, saison was meh. The Blonde was drinkable and IMO the Porter was the best. Being from Northern Cal maybe I’m spoiled for Lagunitas and Lost Coast Brewery. If you’re going to open an establishment without offering a menu and the beer is the«Star», it had better be fantastic beer! I love supporting local businesses and I do hope this place makes it. Maybe try offering an orange wheat or tangerine wheat beer? I’m willing to give this place another try. Especially if the Peached Tortilla is the Food truck. I’ll stick to the Porter.

Cool new brewery in Cedar Park! In the midst of the Austin craft beer explosion, it seems that Cedar Park is the latest city to dabble in the scene with quite a few new breweries opening in the past year or so. They only have a few offerings at the moment but I can see them expanding their choices as they continue to build their fanbase. No food but they do have an on-site food truck & worked out deals with the surrounding restaurants for call-ins. They even have a crowler machine & you can have made-to-order crowler fills of all their beers to enjoy the Whitestone experience at home! And if you prefer growlers, they fill those too!

I love this place and the beer is great, but their propensity to play hair band music from the 80’s mixed in with 60’s Rock is very distracting. They Would be better served to play music that is more chill for the daytime crowd. Leave the big hair and guitar riffs for the night time partiers. Eta: they changed the music. Perfect thanks!

Glad to see this brewery in Cedar Park. Husband and I went to their yoga and beer event«Bends, Brews, & Brunch,» which was so nice on a Saturday morning. I hope to go to more events like this in the future! After the relaxing yoga, I had a flight of beer. I would say all the beer was good, but I would order the Long Gone Blonde or the Konverter Kolsch regularly in the future. Both were light and flavorful. Husband liked the IPA and porter. Atmosphere was great. Staff was friendly. Tour was short but informative. Food was available from a food truck. We like the 3 pours for $ 10 deal that other breweries around Austin usually have. In comparison this place may be a bit more expensive since they don’t do that. Tuesday discounted growlers and crowlers looks like a good deal, though.

What a great new place to go and have a pint and experience the cool food trucks that are there. We started with the flight seeing as we didn’t know what we wanted to try. It’s a great way to experience all there brews. All the brews were good. But we liked the IPA an the porter the best. We like the porter so much we ordered a pitcher. The place is very welcoming and had a great feel to it. There is a fireplace to sit by and drink your pint. Very cozy. There is also a patio that is doggie friendly. So that’s great. The staff was great super friendly. They told us about the food trucks. So we had to try something from it. The Ginger Armadillo was there that day. We tired there black bean Frito pie. It went really good with the porter. It had there winning black bean chili w/real Fritos & cheddar cheese. Yum. Great bar snack with a beer. Its a fun place to check out. If you want to watch the game or just sit by the fireplace. Can’t wait to go back.

Really enjoyed our visit here Saturday. We even sampled some food from the Ginger Armadillo food truck. We ordered a flight and although they were all good, my two favorites were the IPA and the porter. We liked the porter so much we ordered a pitcher. The staff was super friendly and they were happy to visit with everyone. One of them told us which food trucks would be there Sunday and also that a new Porter would be tapped. This new porter would have a richer coffee flavor. Sounded pretty good, so we signed up to be on their email list. The place looks very nice and it’s welcoming. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. There’s even a fireplace to sit by and sip and chat. There are board games and giant Jenga to play with friends. And, of course, there are tv’s to watch games. Fun place, we’ll definately be back.

Great service amazing beers and cool atmosphere. I have been waiting for them to open and they have definite come to play. Their craft beer is brewed to perfection, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere is really laid back. They put a lot a effort into the design and it came out great.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled in this case due to a 2 star review left by another reviewer. This is a brewery. Not a restaurant/brewery. Don’t come to a brewery and expect food. Certainly don’t give a brewery a negative review due to your silly expectations. If you enjoy craft beer, or even crap beer, you should appreciate what Whitestone offers in Cedar Park of all places. Also, I have brought my one year old both times I’ve come. No one died. Kid friendly enough. Just don’t expect Chuck E Cheese and you will be fine As of my second visit, Whitestone has rolled out 4 unique beers. A blonde, a kolsch, an IPA, and a saison. All solid beers. There are 2 more on the way apparently. Come try them and see what you think. Great space, and great staff. I look forward to Whitestone growing, and will update my review if my opinion changes.

Time for a review by a craft connoisseur. I read that the head Brewer was formerly heading Stone brew in San Diego, that alone should tell you what caliber of product these guys are trying to provide. First time in I had the flight(Kölsch, Blonde, Saison, and IPA), all of which were delicious. I opted for a Saison 32 oz. crowler(which I am now enjoying at home, in the proper glass, see pic), simply because fresh saison is a rarity around here. The brown ale and porter are in the works(was told both would be available within 2 weeks). It is my opinion that a breweries IPA will tell you a lot, given the demand of quality hops(getting your hands on good stuff takes lots of leg work, money, connections, and planning). The initial smell of their IPA is unique, it has a very«green» aroma(). The color is a malty brown, nice clarity, and the taste immediately reminds you of a finely crafted recipe. Kölsch was super refreshing and crisp, I throughly enjoyed it and was actually taken aback by how much I liked it(finished before any other). It was the same with the blonde, although I kind of neglected it given my experience with IPA’s, surprise of the kölsch, and focus on the saison. This is a bold and rightly timed venture, they invested in Cedar Park and they will no doubt reap the dividends. It’s exciting to know we have a legit brewery so close, and it’s cool that our city is growing to include these types of businesses.

This new brewery is tucked away in the Railyard area on Whitestone Blvd. They are open to the public in soft opening with a projected grand opening 1÷9÷2016. The brewery looks very nice with a cozy couch in front of a fire place, bar seating and lots of tables. The covered patio has ample picnic seating and they will eventually have food trailers. For now food is limited to a couple restaurants in the neighboring areas that they have menus for. I think this is a smart concept as they are new and it allows them to allow food while focussing on their craft in namesake, being a brewery. With that said, I would be a more frequent customer if they poured wine to accommodate the folks that cannot drink beer. However the staff we spoke with said they may have ciders in the future. Jesse ordered the mild KÖNVERTERKÖLSCH which he enjoyed. They list their current beers on a board which also feeds their social media interactions such as Twitter and Untapped. I am intrigued and will definitely get a taste of the PORCHDADDYBALTICPORTER when it rolls out. On a side note I ordered a glass water which I never received, I would love to see Topo Chico or something similar on the menu too. Great space, dog friendly patio, parking a breeze and food trailers. they do indeed have a good thing going. They are rolling out their brews slowly and they currently list 6 on their website.

Excited to have a new brewery close to home. The indoor décor is rustic with a modern touch, and offers plenty of indoor and patio seating. There are many TV’s adorning the walls, perfect for the avid sports fan. They just opened, so only two brews were available on tap, the Long Gone Blonde and Konverter Kolsch. Both beers were fresh, flavorful and delicious. Service was very friendly and informative. Upon ordering, we were served a complementary pretzel mix, and offered menus to the surrounding restaurants that delivered to the brewery. We were told food trucks would soon be stationed in the outdoor patio section, and several new brews were to be released in the near future. I’m really excited for the opening of Whitestone Brewery and look forward to having new life pumped into a rather dead shopping center.
