I’m about to give up on this store. They have quality cat and dog foods at good prices. However, the majority of the time I come here, they don’t have what I need, stocked on the shelves. I either have the misfortune of coming in *right* after a particular cat food hoarder clears the shelves, or the store just isn’t adequately ordering and stocking products. Seriously though, most of the time I try to shop here, this is how my trip goes(and below is actually a transcript of my time-before-last): Walk in. Grab a cart, and push it to the back of the store. Look for«small» size peanut butter«Old Mother Hubbard» dog biscuits. Notice that they either don’t have or don’t carry the peanut butter variety, but they’ve managed to stock a less common flavor(bacon ‘n’ cheez) instead. Grab a bag or two of the bacon ‘n’ cheez. Stroll over to the cat food section, look for the larger cans of «4Health» cat food in any flavor. Notice that they have 3, tucked allllllll the way on the back of the shelf, where you can’t see them unless you’re squatting down. Grab those three, and walk up to the front. Wait in line. When it’s my turn, I ask the cashier if she can have someone check the back for any flavor of large«4Health» cat food cans. Patiently wait, as she pages overhead for someone in the warehouse to call her. Allow other customers behind me, to check out while we wait on a call back. Listen, as her phone rings, and she picks up, asking them if they have any more«4Health» cat food in the salmon flavor(the one I’ve snagged off the shelf). As I try to correct her, asking for the larger cans of any flavor, she’s hanging up and it’s too late. Wait several more minutes, until someone from the back brings a carton of the small cans(not the large ones I need) up to the front. Apologize to them, and clarify that I’m really looking for the larger cans, and am immediately notified by them that they’re out. Take a deep breath, to stifle my growing frustration and thank them for checking. Pay for the products I *could* find, and leave, hoping they’ll have what I need in stock, next time. This past Monday, the same scenario happened, but when the inventory person walked up, they had two cases of the large cat food cans, that had been collecting dust in the back, instead of selling off the shelves. Please fix this! I really don’t want to have to buy these kinds of things at Petsmart, but if their replenishment SOP and inventory levels support my shopping habits, I won’t really have much of a choice… … …

Service was awful! We ask for assistance and waited in the aisle as we were told to do but no one never came so we decided to leave. On our way out we let the cashier know that no one came. We will not be back. If I could give zero stars I would.

What can’t you find here, a tractor. But if you need tools, farm supplies, pet products, candy, toys, hats, jeans, shirts at a good price they have it. Went in for some seeds and came out with a hat, my first cowboy hat, hot sauce, dog toy, garden supplies, candy, kid’s toy and grass seed.

I drive by this Tractor Supply store often and hence the name I thought there was nothing I would be in the market for purchasing. When I came home to some hangry cats I remembered someone mentioning they have pet food so I thought I would check them out. The store is pet friendly so I brought the pup on the trip too. When we walked in we were greeted by smiling employees and was asked if I needed help finding anything. Nala sniffed her way to the food aisle and seemed pleased to find random kibble on the floor about every other step we took. What I was surprised about is that they carry some grade A pet food and treats. Nala got some Wellness and Merrick treats and the cats got their food. If you are not familiar with Merrick they make a gluten free and grain free line of food and treats made right here in Texas. Tractor Supply also has a selection of toys and chews. The price point is in line with other places we shop but the fact that they are closer to home makes TS slightly more appealing.

The manager here has a huge chip on his shoulder. Way too much ego, and trash talks customers with his big voice to the point it embarrassed me to observe. He is the bald guy. No wonder there is constantly new employees there.

My Blue Heeler had Babies in our Utility Room. On one of her 8 trips out during the day to use the restroom on our fenced Acre, a Pit Bull from next door came tearing THRU our fence and attacked her & she fought back, probably protecting her babies. The Pit Bull ripped her neck out and her larynx was hanging down. We freaked and knew with only $ 29.00 in the Bank, there was NOWAY we could afford a $ 2,500.00 Vet Bill. So… we went to Tractor Supply where a Cashier Gal told us EXACTLY what to buy & no more & what to do! We did it & our Dog survived! I went in & Thanked her later but now that seems so lame… I wish I would have done something more for her… I don’t see her there anymore but she said she used to work at a Vets & thats how she knew what to do… GODBLESSHER&TRACTORSUPPLY.

I hate that I can’t write a glowing review like this for a local feed store. I want to support the local stores but got so discouraged after making countless trips only to come away with such bad experiences. At one store the staff was unbearably rude, sold me the WORST, moldiest hay I have ever seen and had a bunch of dead ducks in the for sale pen(it was 90 degrees and the poor things had no water), another store had super friendly staff but they don’t carry most of the stuff I need and they only take cash(come on, let’s drag ourselves into the twentyfirst century OK?), yet another store claimed to have something I needed but their stock looked so dirty and uncared for I was afraid to buy anything, PLUS their hours were really inconvenient. I’ve been to just about every feed store with in 50 miles of my house and none of them can compare to Tractor Supply. Tractor Supply’s hours are more than reasonable(open till 8PM on weekdays), their staff is SUPER friendly, I can use a credit card, and Tractor Supply has EVERYTHING I need from feed to medicine, to fencing, to pest control, to clothes to tools to the very highly rated and reasonably priced, For Health Brand Dog Food. The only teensey concern I have is the smell. The store REEKS of air freshener. Every TSC I have been in smells this way so I think its from some of the products they sell, but that cant be healthy for the people who work and shop there. I do wish they could do something about that, but otherwise I love this store and rarely go anywhere else for my chicken/dog/garden supplies.

There are many things I do not purchase at Tractor Supply because they just aren’t cost competitive but when it comes to medications needed on the farm, I can usually rely on them to carry it. Thanks Tractor Supply!

I have always loved this store b/c of their great prices. However, some of the staff is seriously lacking in their personal skills. When I called a couple of days ago with questions about a store item the clerk was acting annoyed and then hung up on me. The manager was good about making me feel like a «wanted» customer… but, I will think twice about going there again. Though… you get what you pay for and it is in the boonies.

I only go there if absolutely necessary. A few years back while I was building paddocks and buying a lot of fencing supplies and even a run in shed, they dinged my truck while loading some woven wire fencing. It was not major damage but I did expect them to own up to it. Tractor supply would not take responsibility. They were snotty in the store and cold as ice in the head office. When I shared my experiences with friends they ALL had a story to tell. The store has a new manager now and the folks are friendly but I never forget what kind of policies back the store. I only shop there when I need something immediately and can’t get it elsewhere. There has to be a significant price difference to make it worth my while to shop there.
