The Main Man Air Conditioning and Heating

The Main Man has delivered! I’m sitting in a nice cool air conditioned house right now writing this. Greg really knows his stuff. He methodically addressed each of my AC units issues. He is very personable, funny and pleasant to work with. Air conditioning systems can be very expensive to replace and Greg has educated me about what to expect as my AC units are now 8+ years old. The Main Man also delivers value as his prices are reasonable. I now know who to call in the future for any AC repair needs.

I had Greg, The Main Man, come and fix my drain on the AC as it was stopped up and leaking in the house. I also wanted a look over and servicing of the AC if needed since it had not been done in several years. He fixed the leak issue, got me up to level on freon and cleaned the outside unit. I have always found Greg to be trust worthy and dependable. He is truly a nice person and so pleasant to deal with.

The AC we got back in 2010 had been performing perfectly (an efficiently) until the blower abruptly stopped working on a Thursday night in August. I called first thing on Friday and he came right out. Good news/​bad news time: good news is that the part is under warranty/​bad news is that it can only be gotten from one supplier and it would be several days. X (I checked around with several of the bigger companies and even dug around online at Greg’s suggestion and everyone said the same thing, «We don’t have it and it’ll be Tuesday.»
But as SOON as the motor was in, I got a call and they had my AC good as new in under an hour and didn’t have to pay all that much in labor compared to the quotes the other places insisted on giving me when I check on the motor availability. (Heck, even counting the cost of the room AC we bought to keep my husband from melting, we came out ahead.)
I’m super annoyed with the slowness of the suppliers, but have nothing but praise for The Main Man crew.

Our AC went out on a hot Sunday and Greg was awesome to come out and resolve the issue. He quickly identified the issue and solved it. I highly recommend him.

It’s close to heater season (well, at least among us anemia-​aflicted folk) so I started looking for someone to come do routine service on my heater. I wanted someone local, so I was glad to find Greg up here in Cedar Park. He came, checked my unit over, and pointed out some problems caused by a re-​roof I had done this past year.
He was courteous, fast, more than reasonably priced and has a good sense of humor! I’ll be sure to call again when springtime rolls around.

We contacted Greg at The Main Man through Service Magic for routine A/​C preventative maintenance. He called very quickly, set up an appointment for several days out (we were in no rush — when he first called, his first question was whether we had any sort of emergency, in which case he would’ve come right out.) He was on time and — get this — equipped with a rose and accompanying flowers in a beautiful small vase for my wife. Greg not only did a thorough job of inspecting our A/​C, but also educated me as he was doing so, explaining in detail what he was checking for and what good and bad results might be found and what they’d mean.
Greg spent quite a bit of time with us, and shared some stories of dealings with other clients where he has really gone above and beyond. We’re totally impressed with his professionalism, friendliness, and knowledge. He’s also very good building customer relationships and doing the right thing. We’ll have him back for a followup visit, furnace service before winter, and anything else we might need in the HVAC area. He also willingly offered some referrals to painters and gutter folks. I believe he’s completely honest and fair.
The Main Man really provides some good old fashioned genuine customer service and professionalism, along with genuine Texas friendliness. Based on this experience, we’ve found our HVAC guy for life. Outstanding experience!
