This place was in a shopping center not visible from the street. If you like Tarka you will love this place. Their food was absolutely delicious. They use all white breast meat in nearly all their dishes. I am not fond of dark meat so this was a bonus for me. They food tasted authentic and was just perfect. It looked good and tasted better. They have many dishes to choose from chicken based dishes to vegetarian and of course a wide variety of Curry. They even have a variety of nan. The portions were big. I will be back and I have already recommended them to several people.

I love Indian food and Ive been a patron of Teji’s for years now. I was really happy to see theyve opened another location in Cedar Park. Its about time! However, Ive pushed visiting this location when they first opened their doors because of the reviews. I figured it may be caused by a novice cook or just because theyre dealing with a new place and they needed to get their bearings. Fast forward to last night’s dining experience: We came in and I was surprised to see the place was pretty empty, save for maybe 2 occupied tables. After we ordered, we had to wait longer than necessary because apparently, the cook messed up our order and had to remake it. About 15 minutes after that, the food was served… Oh boy, where do I start? The lamb kabob was so tough and chewy. The butter chicken and tikka masala tasted the same… This wouldve been fine since I was famished but it wasnt even that good. Nothing like the dishes I get from Teji’s RR. Even the garlic naan and raita sauce tasted nothing like what Im used to at the RR location. We had to wait for the waitress to refill our drinks because she hung out in the back alot. It was pretty disappointing. If you’d ever like to try Teji’s, go to their Round Rock location instead.

Went there for lunch. Curries were spoilt. Both the smell and taste confirmed that it was spoilt. But the manager in charge did not agree and didn’t even have the basic courtesy to apologize. In addition, quality of the food was very poor and it is apparent that they are reheating several days old food. Thoroughly disappointed with this new location. Will never go to this location in cedar park again. Food quality: 0 Customer Service: 0 Food price: atrocious Recommendation: Go to a different restaurant.

My god!!! This place is amazing, I want an intravenous drip of the tiki masala. This place is amazing, the people are nice. I have returned several times and will continue to do so!

I wish I could give this a better review because the food itself is just great. There is a great selection and I’m always excited to slowly work my way through the menu. However, when I went, there was a significant fruit fly problem. While I might normally be tolerant to lots of fruit flies if there is an expectation of encountering them(outdoors, for instance), it’s rather unpleasant to have them flying around in the restaurant. I hope this place can solve the fruit fly problem ASAP.

I’ve been here around 4 times, and the food is consistently delicious. Great service, and the portions are large. My husband always has goat Korma, and says its perfect. The prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Love eating here! It’s close, convenient, and the food is fantastic. We’ve ordered takeout a few times(I love the curry!) and we’ve sat in twice. Both times the servers were very friendly. The food is super flavorful. This is one of our go-to places and is always the place we go to if we want great Indian food.

Pretty good. The naan was my favorite part, delicious. The samosas tasted like they weren’t really fresh. We had the chicken tiki Masala and the Aloo Gobi(which had eggplant in it). They were both pretty good, but have had better. We will be likely go back.

My wife an I love eating at Teji’s the staff already knows us so they are always attentive to what we want. We are both big fans because the food is great. Today, we ate there for dinner and as always we enjoyed it. My wife ordered the Paneer Tikka Masala and I ordered the Mix Grill which brings: Tandoori Chicken, kababs, & Chicken Tikka. That meat is cooked to perfection and taste very good. If you are ever in the area, I encourage you to eat there.

I am in complete agreement with the other reviewer from today. The food is great; the service, at least from one woman who may or may not be the owner or a manager, was… well, embarrassing. We first tried Teji’s yesterday, ordering take out Chicken Korma, Paneer Tikka Masala, and garlic and plain naan. The entrees come with rice, which smelled wonderful right when I opened the box(and tasted pretty good, too). Both of the entrees were delicious, although the Tikka Masala was a little too sweet for my taste, as I didn’t realize it was a tomato-based sauce, which is my bad. Neither dishes are hot-spicy, just aromatically and deliciously spices-spicy. The downside — my husband, who had picked up the order, mentioned that the woman that took his order was unfriendly and seemed to be having a bad day. Also, we didn’t receive the garlic naan that we ordered, and since it was take out that was all wrapped up, we didn’t think to check for it until we got home. The food was good enough that we decided to get take out again today, and I’m not usually a fan of Indian food. We stopped in and a different girl gave us menus to look at; she seemed new, and she was both helpful and sweet. I asked to get something like Chicken Korma, except with Paneer, and she went to ask the kitchen if that was possible, which it was. The woman from yesterday came out as we were trying to decide our order, and it was pretty evident that yesterday had not just been an off-day for her in both how she treated us as customers and how she treated the first girl, her employee. After the first girl took our orders, the woman basically interrogated her as to what we ordered and how she handled the Paneer Korma request. The girl explained that the kitchen was able to do a straight substitute of paneer for chicken, which from my dining experience isn’t an outlandish request. The woman said irritably, «But I don’t have Paneer Korma.» The girl explained that we had agreed to just pay the original price for the Chicken Korma since the paneer substitution was off-menu, and the woman threw her hands up with an exaggerated, «Okay…» The food was on par with that of yesterday’s, and the Paneer Korma tastes just as it should. We tried a third dish today, and it’s just as delicious. Unfortunately, we felt so – the only word I can think of is embarrassed — by the way the woman treated us and her employee that I can’t justify giving this any more than 2 stars, and I’m reluctant to consider going back to this Teji’s again.

I’ve been a Teji’s fan since I moved here 5 years ago, and visit the Round Rock location all the time. I was pleased to hear that Cedar Park was getting a Teji’s, as well, as this is closer to my work, so I can order ahead of time and go over and pick this up on my lunch hour. It’s a little tricky finding this place in the shopping center, but I’ve sent an update to Unilocal with an accurate pin as to where this place is *exactly* in the shopping center, so hopefully it’ll be updated soon. Once you find it and get inside, it’s a cute, clean little set-up. Service is quick and professional. My go-to meal is the chicken korma and garlic naan. I love dipping my naan in the korma sauce… ohhhh, it’s so good. They’ve got all the traditional Indian dishes here, as well as a few less common ones, as well. Let them know how spicy/mild you want your food, and they’ll gladly accommodate your request. Come for the great menu selection and service, and leave with a fat, happy belly. What more could you want?

Me and my wife frequent a variety of Indian and Pakistani restaurants. This one was above average. We had the mixed platter meal and a Mango Lassi. Both were delicious. The naan’s were fresh and large which is great. We are definitely coming back here to try out the rest of the menu. Will update…

Really enjoyed the food here! We ordered palak aloo, garlic naan, samosas, and a mixed grill tandoori plate. All of it was really well seasoned and flavorful, but my favorite was the mixed grill plate. The chicken was perfect! Yum, yum! For all this food, it was very reasonable and we left with leftovers, which is always nice! Service was fast and friendly and the place is casual, which is nice for families and kiddos. The menu also offers good combos which come with a variety of options if you don’t want to piece everything together yourself(dessert included) so we will try that next time around! My only suggestion for improvement is pacing — we ordered samosas as an appetizer but it came out with the meal. No biggie but just know that your order comes out fast and all together. Oh and we didn’t see the option to tip on the credit card. It was the swipe system on an iPad and I am used to seeing the option to leave a percent but that wasn’t available. They have a tip jar up front where you check out for cash tips.

I am so happy to find an Indian Restaurant in the Cedar Park area that I will definitely be back to! I placed an order for pickup: chicken tikka masala, lamb saag, basmati rice and original and garlic naan. The restaurant itself is super clean and not overly decorated which I like because it just seems more sterile and conducive to where I like to eat. The order was ready on time and super hot even after driving 20 mins to get the food home. The pricing was good too. We asked for extra spice in our chicken dish which was delicious but really spicy for those sensitive to heat! My only reason for deducting one star was because there wasn’t much meat(maybe 4 pieces) in each dish, mostly just sauce. But overall the food is delicious and I will be back to try different dishes!

Ok. Review time. Wait; let me finish licking my fingers first. (10 minutes later …) Right. Here I go. Oh, wait a sec, I see a few Crumbs of the veg biryani on my plate. Gimme a sec. (2 mins later …) Ok I swear I’m ready now. Veg biryani. That is all. A mountain of perfectly seasoned rice and vegetables, brimming with favor and spice. I still have leftovers after my husband and I ate like pigs last night. You don’t need to get anything else. At $ 7.99 you can’t do better than this. My kiddo loved the potato naan and the sweet lassi. I was conflicted going in, because this used to be naanful, one of my favorite places that closed down. In a way, I’m not anymore. I am yet to try the other entrees, but not for the next few months, at least. I really wish I could write more, but I’m actually finishing up my doggie bag of biryani. And sorry about no pictures either. Couldn’t wait to snap and then eat. Regular spot? Oh hell yea.

Be still my heart. Teji’s has a new location at the 1890’s Ranch shopping area. No more long drives down 620 to get great Indian food. Teji’s took over the location that Naanful previously occupied. Nothing fancy about the décor, it is comfortable and bright. I showed up on a Saturday for some take out. The owner took my order of Samosas, Chicken Korma and Golab Jamun. He told me to take a seat and he will get me a drink while I waited. During my 15 minute wait for the food to be cooked, two other wait staffers asked me if they can get me a drink. Awesome service as usual. My food is ready and for under $ 20., I have huge quantities of food. It made three meals for me. Prices are so equitable for what you get. The samosa is crispy on the outside and smooth and spicy on the inside. They included a green dipping sauce for the samosa. I love that they pack the rice separately from the Korma. The Korma had so many chicken pieces. It was mild with a slight spice to it. With the Naan, I made a Korma sandwich. Ending with one of the Golab Jamun balls, made my lunch a perfect event. I can’t wait to go back.
