The owner contacts people she finds through social media interested in adopting. She preys on their vulnerability to lure them into adoption situations that often never come to fruition. She calls out of the blue, having never spoken to people before, and tells them they need to decide RIGHT THEN whether or not they will adopt a child. If you say no, or that you need to talk to a spouse, or any other reasonable answer a sane person would give, she mocks you, insults you and tells you that if you continue to «be picky» you will «never have a child». She will then continue to call you multiple times in coming days, not to check to see if you have any questions or want to learn more about the specific situation, but to remind you of how foolish you are and how you will never be able to adopt a child because you are unreasonable.
She has had multiple government agencies investigate her, multiple complaints brought against her, and has lost her accreditation with the better business bureau. There are entire threads on adoptive parent forums about her unethical and unbelievably cruel practices and treatment of prospective adoptive parents. I don’t doubt she is also engaging in illegal and unethical practices and hope she will get what is due to her.
Whether you are a prospective adoptive parent, an expectant mother, or anyone else interested in adoption, stay far, far away from this woman and if she contacts you, report her to the appropriate licensing agencies.

The people at Silver Spoon Adoptions are professional, compassionate and knowledgable. They only work with pregnant women, but i referred a friend to them and we feklt that she was very well taken care of. They helped make a negative situation into a very positive one. Highly recommend.
