CVS pharmacy

The pharmacy staff here are amazing! They went above and beyond for me. They took it upon themselves to figure out my situation on my first visit. This is definitely my new pharmacy for life.

Amy and Pamela were very patient with me and explained everything to me in a way I could understand. I appreciate how nice they were despite the fact that they were SUPER busy! They assisted me, handled my insurance situation (I couldn’t find my card…), and filled my Rx faster than I expected! Those two know how to get the job done and quick! I can’t thank them enough for their wonderful customer service skills and awesome work!

So, here is the deal: Front store people are pretty nice and as helpful as they can be. There are times when they need to call for help and help seems a bit slow in coming. OK, I understand that you can’t staff a retail operation for every eventuality.
The store is always clean, but frequently out of whatever I am looking for.
Prices for over the counter remedies are ridiculously high. I recently brought back a cold remedy that I had purchased when I found out that HEB had the same item for $ 4.00 less. The next item was throat losenges priced $ 2.00 more than HEB.
The pharmacy is another story. I have been going there for three years and I have always had to wait to even have my presence acknowledged. It seems that there is always something more important to do than wait on a customer.
I guess that I will begin to drive a little farther to the other chain store. Maybe they can do better.
