The bento boxes for lunch are such great deals. I believe the ch. teriyaki bento box(during lunch hours) is 6.95. You get soup, salad, chicken, crab wontons, sushi, and ½ an orange. It’s so filling! I get this most of the time. If not, I order the Cajun roll, chicken fried rice, or chicken roll. Any of the sushi is good. You just can’t go wrong with Suzushii

I ordered sushi and my wife ordered teriyaki. It took 20+ minutes to get the sushi, and 40+ minutes to get the teriyaki! The waiter gave an excuse that they had a large to-go order that caused them to be behind on cooked food. This was at lunch time. Another table behind us had a similar problem and when complained to the manager, she only offered excuses and to give a discount on a $ 7 meal! We didn’t complain since it was obvious that it would be pointless.

The food here has always been good, and until today the service has been great. However, after what I experienced with the manager today, I will never be back. We arrived around 12:30PM, so figured we may have to wait a bit since it was at lunch time. We were seated quickly, and the server took our order. Everything seemed to be fine. The bento boxes my parents ordered were brought out — they ordered the shrimp and tempura. I ordered the chicken teriyaki and the server said it would be out soon. I waited 15 min before finally asking about the status of my order. Was told it would be out soon. Another 10 min went by and my father asked — told the same thing. My order was finally brought about 35 min after my parents’ orders. They were finished with their meals at this point. I immediately asked the server to speak with a manager and to bring me a to go box. The manager was full of attitude when she finally came to the table about 5 min later. I explained what happened and before she could even just say a simple, «I’m sorry,» I was told a plethora of excuses. There was a large to-go order and that backed the kitchen up. It was lunchtime and they were busy(the dining room was NOT full, and it’s not that large anyway). That a lot of people ordered what my parents ordered so they made a lot of those first to get them out and then that backed up the other orders. I explained that it was not normal to not serve all parties at a table at the same time and was told that it WAS common. Common to have only some people eating while others wait for food at the same table??? I understand that issues arise when working in a restaurant — I’ve worked in restaurants. If the manager had just simply come over, offered an apology WITHOUT all the excuses, and then done what she could to make it right, then this review would have an entirely different tone. The manager needs further instruction on how to speak with customers. She then proceeded to tell me that everyone else in the restaurant was happy except for me. So it’s somehow my fault now that my food came out 35MINUTES after it should have? The couple at a table near us came up to me as they were leaving and explained they had the same experience, so the manager was wrong. They didn’t even bother to complain after seeing me go round and round with her with no resolution. Her offer of a discount on the meal was laughable. My entire meal was $ 6.95 and I had sprung for the upgrade to fried rice for $ 1.95. A discount on that? It was an insult at that point. She then gave me a generic card for the restaurant with NONAME and no other contact number other than the main number. What am I supposed to do with that? I just ripped it up, gave it to my server, and told her to hand it back to the manager. Not my finest moment, but I was ready to just get out of there. The food is still good here, but until there is a different manager in charge that truly understands what customer service means, then I doubt this restaurant will have much further success.

The boyfriend picked this place out of tons of others and I have to say he did a pretty good job based on the overall taste and presentation of the food. This isn’t your typical douchey sushi place that has at least 10 other patrons waiting to judge you if you use a fork so that alone gets this place a star because sometimes you’re just too darn hungry to wrestle your food with two sticks with your new nails getting in the way :-/The Cajun Roll was our favorite but there were plenty of other options we tried that were equally good. Overall, the atmosphere could use some help. The décor was like a Japanese McDonald’s with bright walls and out of fashion booth seating. Sure, you’re not eating the walls or the seats but being reminded of McDonald’s didn’t help my appetite much. Speaking of the seating, there was rice all over the booth we were seated at so, do with that info what you will. Also, our waitress was generally nice and upbeat in the beginning which we really appreciated but as the night wore on, she seemed a little overwhelmed(the place was packed.) Since we were 1 of 3 tables who had been there the longest, she appeared aggravated at how long we had been there and was trying to hurry us up by dropping hints like«done with that yet?» etc. No ma’am, we have at least two half full plates of food, we are clearly NOTDONE. Tip to her: if patrons are sitting and still eating, no matter how long you feel they’ve been there, never go to the table and say anything along the lines of «did you want to try dessert since you’re just kind of sitting here» kind of goes without saying but then again, maybe she didn’t think it was as uncouth as it sounded. Needless to say, we took her advice and ordered dessert which took so long to get to the table we almost cancelled it. Overall, the food was good, service was okay(I couldn’t really find a good medium between it started off attentive and turned into«not so much»), and I’d totally get some takeout from here in the future but as for dining in, we’re going to keep looking for our go-to sushi date spot.

Their location in Mansfield was the first one I’ve been to and got hooked on. However, since I was gonna watch a movie at cinemark 14, I figured I tried this location since it was really close to the theatre. Upon arriving, I was disappointed to discover that my favorite sushi roll«the stop drop and roll» was not on the menu and couldn’t be requested to be made either. However, the waiter was very helpful and did suggest an off menu roll that he believe could have been comparable… The vampire roll. In addition I ordered then crunch roll, spider roll, scorpion roll and the soft shell crab fried rice. The spider and scorpion roll were average. They tasted pretty similar to each other. The crab fried rice was delicious. They don’t skimp out on the crab like some places do. The rice was also nicely seasoned. The vampire roll was actually better than I had hopes for. It was a good mixture of a raw and cooked sushi roll.

I absolutely love coming to this Sushi place, every time that i have been here I have been incredibly satisfied. Everything here is delicious. My partner and I come here often, and we are in love with their sushi. I LOVE their sushi rolls, especially the Incredible Roll. It is definitely my favorite. Not only is the food great, but their service is good too. Drinks being refilled, food being served, being greeted. They take care of their customers. This is definitely my top favorite place to go to for Sushi, for my partner and I both. There hasn’t been a single time I’ve come in here that I’ve been disappointed. I LOVEYOUSUZUSHI!

I am a regular. The sushi chef here is amazing! His name is Benny and we have gotten to know one another over his amazing sushi rolls. He will definitely keep you entertained if you sit at the sushi bar. I will be going here as long as Benny sticks around.

This place is the best ever. Nice service and direct customer presentation. Also when you enter and leave they announce you. I love it. Authenticity at its finest. House soup and The Tower are the best.

This place is in the thick of things, but kind of hidden and out of the way. Some of the best Sushi, and Japanese food in any of the places that I’ve tried in Dallas. Worth seeking out. Great Food, excellent customer service! Order light, because a little goes a long way!

Buzzed in here in hopes of finding a replacement for Toshio’s moving to Waxahachie awhile back. THELUCK! We ordered a mess of rolls and sashimi. We sat in front of a lovely older Japanese lady, the boss is half-Japanese and I think that never hurts when getting to a new sushi joint. Excellent quality all the way around. Nicely balanced rolls between rice and contents and good cold sake. Will be back SOON. For how far away from Dallas /FTW this is, it sure is extremely good.

I like this place. It’s quaint(15 tables plus sushi bar space), clean, and brightly decorated. Since I’m a veg head, I’ve never tried the sushi, but their mango rolls, spicy edamame, and veggie tempura are very good. The prices are great, too. I can get mango rolls and edamame for under $ 12. The location is convenient enough to stop in and carry out a quick bite for dinner. Plus, it’s much healthier than my local fast food alternatives. Small, healthy oasis. Con: sometimes, like today, have to wait way too long for an order that I call in… Minus 1 star The manager is cool; she knows what I like to order, and usually has it ready by the time I get here. Note: I have never dined in here; if I do, I’ll update my review.

We come here when we don’t want to travel to Arlington or Dallas. We order the shrimp tempura roll($ 5.95), tuna tower($ 10.95), and the chicken teriyaki bento($ 13.95). The sushi is cheaper than most places and the taste isn’t as good. Still it is worth coming here. The service is hit or miss.
